Enhance counter to track interactions for anonymous users
Right now, for profiles with anonymous authentication (i.e., users who aren’t logged in), the system doesn’t update the counter when they see an alert because it can’t track who they are. This means even though anonymous users view the alert, the counter doesn’t reflect that.
We’re specifically looking to address this for our Experience Day profile, which doesn’t require any login. It would be really helpful if the counter could still register when an anonymous user sees the alert. We need this for tracking engagement during Experience Days, where users won’t necessarily be logged in.
While we understand the need for user identification in many cases, it would be great if there was a way to at least track views from anonymous users, even if we don’t know who they are. This would give us a more complete picture of user interaction, especially for special events like Experience Days.
Thanks for considering this request!
