Request for enhancement to roles
Could we please request the capability to assign tiles to users based on specific role combinations—including the presence or absence of certain roles?
This functionality would be highly valuable for our team and significantly enhance our workflow.

Asset Manager - Asset Association Info
It would be useful if the Asset Manager could identify where Assets are used in the platform (or not as the case may be) without having to manually check all content/configuration areas against each asset.
This would enable us to see where assets are in use across the platform, should update be required and also allow us to remove old assets no longer in use.

Extend Auto-Logout Time on App Manager
I’d like to suggest increasing the time before the system automatically logs users out of the App Manager. At the moment, it logs me out quite frequently, which can be frustrating—especially when I'm in the middle of tasks. A longer session timeout, or ideally no auto log-out while users are actively working on the page, would greatly improve the user experience and workflow.

Events - Badge Notifications and read/unread indicators
Feature Request:
It would be incredibly helpful if the Events Tile could include a Badge Notification for newly added events. In addition, a “read/unread” indicator next to each event. This way, if an event is updated (change of location or time), it could automatically revert to an “unread” status, helping students stay informed and updated without being overwhelmed through push notifications.Reason:
Given the volume of university events across all faculties, we currently publish events through the Events product integration rather than using alerts or announcements. Sending individual alerts for each event would likely overwhelm students and lead to notification…6 votes -
App Manager - Single Log Out
The front end CampusM platform performs a full single log-out (SLO) when a user clicks 'log out'.
However, the same process is not applied to 'log out' in App Manager. This was identified following implementation of single sign on (SSO) for App Manager recently and would be a beneficial addition to the platform to increase security.1 vote -
Enhance counter to track interactions for anonymous users
Right now, for profiles with anonymous authentication (i.e., users who aren’t logged in), the system doesn’t update the counter when they see an alert because it can’t track who they are. This means even though anonymous users view the alert, the counter doesn’t reflect that.
We’re specifically looking to address this for our Experience Day profile, which doesn’t require any login. It would be really helpful if the counter could still register when an anonymous user sees the alert. We need this for tracking engagement during Experience Days, where users won’t necessarily be logged in.

Support special characters in RSS CDATA
Instead of displaying an umlaut over the "u" in "Bilingue" for an event in Events & Activities, the app displayed the word as "Bilingüe" The umlaut is displayed correctly in the college's event feed; it is not correctly displayed in the app. Please consider this enhancement request.

Home Page Banners - Configurable Limit
It would be very useful if there were App Manager configuration available for Home Page Banners, to allow us to set a limit for the amount of banners that can be added overall or assigned to a role (or combination of roles) at any one time.
This would help support appropriate usage of the feature (that is not always achieved on a 'trust' basis with admin users), ensuring that not too many banners were on show at the same time (that could overwhelm students) and maintaining the visibility of those active in the time the user remains on the Home…

Sharing - On/Off Configuration
At present it is not possible to show/hide the Sharing options in full or by each individual platform. This would be useful to allow us to adopt/hide as appropriate.
It would also be useful for us to have access to manage the sharing option for each platform - At present we only have access to configure the option for Email and Twitter - We have no control over the Facebook option.1 vote -
User Permission Search/Report
Would it be possible to deliver a feature whereby we can search by user permission and present in a list of search results which user accounts have that permission assigned.
Similarly, could there be a search by Content area to identify which users had access to edit them.
Then finally, could there be an option to export a report to show all the permissions & content access assigned to every user to support a regular security review.
At present all of the above can only be achieved by manually checking every user account which is not feasible.1 vote -
Content History
Would it be possible to offer a history of Content page updates so we can track:
• Who created a page & when
• Who last updated a page & when
• A full history of who updated the page in the past and when
• What amendments were made to the page each time.Activity history is recorded within some pages within App Manager but not all and this would be a useful addition to support the identification of training needs and ensure content remains current.

Quick Polls - Improvements
• Add a facility for users to anonymise their response on submission
Within the Quick Poll creation page we can choose to set a poll as 'anonymous' but this doesn't allow users to submit anonymously on polls where we haven't selected this option. Some users are more likely to submit if they feel their data is not gathered alongside and all feedback is valuable.

For 'advance role notification' add 'OR' as an operator, not just 'AND' / 'NOT'

A new field within 'positions' that allows us to enter a link to a specific map (the link would be a specific Mazemaps link)

Make it possible to edit the order of the toolbar icons
The toolbar currently presents in this order 'My Campus, Settings, Calendar, Alerts, Search'. It would be good to be able to change this order, and make general edits to the toolbar such as icons and labels.

Registered Users - Date Range Search Improvements
The Date Range search on the Registered Users page would benefit from a number of improvements to make it simpler & clearer to use:
The Date Range field is not intuitive - To populate this (amending the Default value) you have to select the From and the To date at the same time within the single calendar pop-up that appears when you click into the field. This is then populated in the field when you exit the calendar and you can click Done to complete the search.

Add student name to the attendance export
Currently the attendance export which can be taken from within App Manager does not include the user's (student's) name. It would be useful if this could be added to allow us to easily filter by student.

'My Profile' colour theme change
Currently when users select a tag from the 'my profile' section it is a bright blue colour that signifies selection. Our University colour is red and therefore having the configurability to change this selection colour would be very beneficial to our users.
This update would improve the UI for all roles who sit behind OAUTH and therefore have a 'My Profile' section.

Can we generate alt-text for our images, now that we're on React Native/campusM? The data is being passed through the data feed. We had submitted a support case, but the PM suggested we submit an Idea instead.

Home Page Banners - Timeframe
At the moment, Home Page Banners have to be manually removed in App Manager at the end of their 'life' to take them off-show front-end. This is done either via full deletion or removal of Roles.
It would be useful if configuration was available when adding a Home Page Banner to set a timeframe/window for its lifetime (in a similar way to Quick Polls).
