Library Card page
I think it would more user-focused if the "Library Card" dashboard listed all of the requests and loans in one spot, regardless of the lending library. Many users are unaware of which library they've requested an item through - it would be nice if there was only one dashboard for patrons to check on the status of everything in one spot.
Hi all,
We would like to update that this is planned to be developed in the Primo Next Discovery Experience User Interface.
More details on the new interface plans can be found here -
Therefore we are changing the status of this idea to "Planned".
Best regards,
Yael.

And also the fees.
This account has an open fee to pay - not visible under overview or under fees:

This idea is very important in my opinion, patron user would profit a lot if this enhancement.

Yes, yes, yes--this is really needed!

It's very confusing to patrons that their loans and requests are listed under multiple libraries. Often they don't realize and just think they should click on their own library. Even as someone who understands this, I find it frustrating to use, because I can't remember which institutions I have things checked out from, so I end up going through the whole list in order. For a consortium like USG with many libraries, it's onerous and really annoying and gives a poor impression to the user.

Did not make it through round two of NERS.
I'm glad it's under review, this is a difficulty for our patrons.

This would be great also for viewing on celphones! Right now, there is not even a way to toggle from "all institutions" to "has activity" when viewing on a device such as a celphone.

Yes -- It's confusing that all active loans are not on the same page. When I get a renewal notice, I don't know which I-Share library I borrowed it from and I have to click through to get to that loan record to renew or check the due date.

I also want all of my loans to appear on a single page.

"Unify Primo My Library Card display of loans/requests from all institutions in the network"

I agree that all CURRENT loans should be on one list, but users would also benefit from a Closed ILL display as well. They would have their current loans on a single page, and previously requested items on another, so all their ILL activity would be listed but differentiated between current and past loans.

It is clearly an a significant issue that needs to be addressed, but we from the RZS are only partially in agreement with the proposed solution. We agree that the current interface should only show IZs with activities, the user should not be able to see or view those without activities at all. We also welcome an overview of all loans, etc. from all IZs as standard, but the filter option for IZs should somehow be retained. As long as not all libraries are part of the SLSP courier, it's important to see/be able to filter where you picked up the media so you can return it there.

As both someone who shows patrons (and graduate assistants) how to do this, and as someone who has done it myself, the current system is confusing. It would be so nice to have renewals all in one place.

We would love the option of having all loans from all institutions listed in one list instead of on individual tabs. We have received a lot of feedback from patrons about not being able to renew all items at one time and the confusion of having to switch back and forth between tabs. Thanks for considering!

I totally agree with this idea, as our netwok has 29 IZs !

Patrons (including myself!) don't remember from which library in our consortium they got a book. It would be much easier to keep track of checked out books from one list, especially if they have a long list of items.
