Primo VE doesn't have a boosting ability
Primo VE can't boost like traditional Primo. We would like to see that brought in for us to be able to boost similar to how it is configured in the back office
Thank you for posting this idea. This feature is released in Primo VE as part of September 2019 release.

FYI, Results Boosting Configuration should be possible in Primo VE from Q3 2019. See https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Primo/Release_Notes/002Primo_VE/0972019/Feature_Alignment_Schedule_for_Primo_VE

Use case. We spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on print materials and things in our special collections. We need the ability to impact the search results so that our physical holdings show up on the first page along with articles and other items that may have more metadata than our traditional MARC records. We have this ability in the current Primo - and would like it in Primo VE to ensure our print usage continues to be found.

I agree with Stacey's comment below!

I'm especially interested in being able to boost our physical materials in a blended search. It's frustrating when many of our relevant physical books are buried in the search results under an avalanche of not-so-relevant articles.

The limit of 20 votes means that I need to devote them to our current environment of Alma with Primo Back Office. But I’d like to track updates on this one because I’m concerned that it’s apparently not in the VE Roadmap already to ensure feature parity for VE to BO, and that customers need to use their limited votes on requesting existing standard functionality which should not be classed as an ‘enhancement’.
