Add starts with functionality to Call Number field in the advanced search
"starts with" functionality should be added to the Call Number field in the advanced search in Primo.
This is to update that this feature is now available in February 2023 release for Primo / Primo VE.

This made it through round two of NERS 2022 (7986), will probably be possible for holdings with Febraury 2023 release.

Using Alma Analytics is also a workaround. But I expect a "starts with" functionality for the readers / patrons not just staff.

The "starts with" functionality in the call-number field in the advanced search does not work. And users find the "contains" functionality unhelpful.

This seems like more of a 'bug fix' than an enhancement. At the very least it should not act like this.
'When choosing 'call number' then 'starts with' the interface switches the index to 'title'.
