"Replace Offer" changes selector
Our workflow is that the librarians put orders through to approval, and acquisitions staff then approves those orders. Sometimes they find an alternate "offer" that is lower priced or in stock (as opposed to shipping in 4 weeks, etc.) and use the "replace title" feature to change which offer they are approving. This replaces who the selector of record is to the staff member rather than the librarian that originally selected the title.
Could this be fixed so that the original selector stays the "selector of record" throughout the process even in a different offer is selected? This will will…3 votesThis was released as part of the May 2024 release:

Add Reporting Codes as a drop down field when selecting item for DDA
At the point of adding a title to DDA, a drop down field would be beneficial to input Reporting Codes so when a title is triggered this information pulls through into the POL which we wish to use to report from.
27 votesRialto has added reporting codes for both DDA offers added to the pool from a selection plan and when manually adding a title to the DDA pool so that users can enhance internal reporting capabilities. This is available to folks who have migrated to the new order/invoice service for Rialto.
Manual DDA add settings will also now persist from page to page for the user’s session.

Separate finalizing stage from Purchase Request form page with confirmation message and link to create new request
Currently, the finalizing stage is completed on the same page as the rest of the form. However, I believe it would be more effective if the message of finalization appeared on a different, separate page, where the patron doesn't see the request fields. This separation would provide a clearer distinction between the completion of the form and the finalization process.
Additionally, I recommend adding a link in the finalizing stage page, that allows the user to create a new Purchase Request.
I believe these enhancements would improve the user experience and make the process more transparent and user-friendly.
17 votesThis was completed in 2023. There is now a status message at the top of the form that says, "Purchase request for <title> submitted."

Make "In Your Institution" clearer
It would be great if we could more clearly differentiate when we hold the current edition listed in the marketplace verses a previous edition. We don't want to see items in a feed when we already hold a current edition, but we're likely to update editions when we already hold previous editions. Right now the amount of clicking needed and the location of that information is difficult for selectors to find.

"My Lists" should include a total cost option
We frequently need to order with a strict cap on funds. When utilizing Rialto's "My Lists" to plan purchases, it would be helpful if the list could show a "Total Cost" for items in the list. Otherwise, we need to add items to the Shopping Cart, see the total, go back to the list and adjust until we've added the proper amount of orders to the cart. Or we can do the math outside of the system. It would simplify and speed up the Rialto ordering process if "My Lists" included a "Total Cost" option.
55 votesTotal cost of all items in a list is available as of the May 2023 release.

Working with lists in Rialto
Make it easier to view the various iterations of a work when working within the Rialto list environment. Right now you can only view in the list the work iteration that exactly matches your ISBN. You have to click on the iteration, then "see other iterations" to view the other iterations. It would be great if the list feature could display multiple iterations like a general marketplace search does.

"In your lists" tag hyperlinked to take you directly to the list in question.
When looking at a record in Alma that flags up as "In your lists," it would be really helpful if the "In your lists" tag is hyperlinked to take you to the list in question so that comments can be added etc. At the moment it doesn't even tell you which list it is in, and to get to them you have to go to the My Lists link and look for it.
72 votesThis is now completed with the April, 2024 release. Clickable links adjacent to badges are now present within offer details to allow users to more easily navigate through Rialto.
Upon clicking a badge:
- "In your cart" - redirects to the user's cart, with a focus on the selected item.
- "In your lists" - navigates to the pertinent list, highlighting the selected item.
- "Purchased in Rialto" - leads to the order history, centered on the selected item.

Improve accuracy and currency of availability information for titles
We frequently get notification of orders being cancelled despite them showing as available for purchase. It seems that the availability information is not as up to date as it could be and the result is a lot of time wasted in manually cancelling POLs in Alma. Please provide more up to date information on the actual availability of titles.

Alma suppressed titles - show as held by institution
We'd like the ability to customize so that suppressed titles do not show as "in our institution". Right now, if you exclude titles from your institution, you don't get new editions in our feeds. So is there a way that new editions can be differentiated?
14 votesThis was completed with two releases. One, suppressed titles was fixed in January, 2023. See release notes:
The second release was for New Editions for held titles, this came out prior to May, 2020 when we started publishing release notes.
If I am incorrect on this idea being completed, please let me know.

Add tracking numbers to Rialto order history
Add (shipping) tracking numbers to the order history details panel.
'Shipped to customer' is already one of the statuses - add a tracking number and link so that we can track the shipments.
26 votesWhen provided by the carrier, Rialto will display the tracking URL for physical shipments. The tracking number and link appear within the order details for a physical item on the order history page.
Tracking will appear for all orders going forward, the change is not retroactive.See release notes: https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Rialto/Release_Notes/Release_Notes_2024/000Rialto_2024_Release_Notes?mon=202404BASE

Return to point in Recommendations feed when navigating back
Return to point in Recommendations list after going back from viewing Library Activity. Currently 'back' takes you to the start of a list.
26 votesThis was completed as part of the June 2022 release. However, when testing we did notice that it will align to the top of the page until the page is fully loaded, which can take a moment, and then place you back on the item you'd originally selected after the page loads.

We did find an issue with this working correctly on the "Orders Awaiting Approval" page. We have opened a ticket with the team to have this fixed.

Notifications when saved forthcoming titles are officially published
We have a running list of not yet published titles that we frequently check for publication updates. We also have a handful sitting in our Orders Awaiting Approval cart. It would be great if Rialto could send us a notification when saved titles are officially published and available for purchase (not pre-order).

It would be helpful to search by title and author (or other common advanced search options) when searching in the market to save time when trying to find a requested title.

Task in Tasks widget for Approvals
For orders waiting for approval, it would be nice to have a task appear in the Tasks widget. Then approvers wouldn't need to check within Rialto constantly to see if anyone has placed an order for approval - they could just see it in the widget and know when to follow up to finalize the order.
