Suggest Replacement feature - keep book extract or chapter information
When using the Suggest Replacement feature for book extract or chapter citations, the data in the chapter and/or page range fields should be kept (rather than automatically deleted) if the suggestion is approved. When the suggestion is approved either from Leganto or Alma there should be an alert (like a pop-up box) to notify the user they may need to check the chapter/page range details on the suggested replacement.
Alternatively, the user could be presented with an option to decide whether the chapter/extract information is kept or overwritten.

Add information on reading list creation to Alma Analytics
We would like to have more information about how a reading list was created in order to trouble-shoot issues. Could you please add fields to Analytics on whether the list was created via rollover, via the Duplicate option or by New List button, and whether in Leganto or Alma.

Confirmation screen when adding citation to Leganto from Primo
When adding a catalog citation to Leganto from the Primo interface (via the "Send To..." menu) there is a small popup (screenshot attached) that asks the user to choose a list, section, etc. and then click the green "Add to Leganto" button, which is great. Once this button is clicked, the page reloads and the user receives no confirmation, other than to open a new tab, navigate to the relevant list, and verify that the citation appeared in the right place. Instead, once the user clicks "Add to Leganto," would it be possible to have a similarly sized pop up…

Shareable link function in the Leganto file viewer
In the Leganto PDF viewer there is no option to create a shareable link to the citation.
Problem: The educator or another student wants to share a link direct to the viewer (e.g. Hi students, add your comments on this file), they can only get the URL from the browser address bar. This URL does not support SAML authentication. They do not understand the implications of doing this, and will not go back to the other tab to get a shareable link - indeed they may have closed the other tab.
- User may end up at the Leganto authentication page…

Editor button integration: show requirement to choose bibliography style
When selecting a citation using the editor button, the Add button does not work until a bibliography style is selected from the drop-down menu. For the new user, this can be confusing. It needs a visual indicator of some kind, such as prompt text in the box or an error message. Ideally, there would be default as there is for the link text, and it would be "sticky" -- remembering the user's last selection.

Separate Alma "attach existing file" from Leganto "upload file" for automatic citation statuses
We have set citationuploadedfile to "ReadyForProcessing" so that when an educator uploads a file we know we have to pay attention to copyright audit and process the citation promptly.
When library staff use the "Attach Existing File" function in Alma it sets the citations to "Ready for Processing" seemingly using the same parameter.
We would expect that an Alma user attaching a file is very different to an educator uploading a file and we should be able to define the automatic citations separately.
Note: an Alma user uploading a file when editing a citation does not trigger this…

Automatic hold request when adding physical item
We need requests to be placed on items that have been added to a reading list in Leganto. Otherwise students see that the item is available in the stacks and may go pick it up before our staff can OR be confused at the location since course reserves are always behind our front desk.
There's also no alert in Alma stating that the item has been added to a reading list and to double check.
In our current workflow, we do not employ the manually-set "move request" on items we pull from the stacks because it's extra clicks. This should…

Auto publish option for instructor rollover
The new autopublishon_create functionality works when an instructor creates a new list from scratch in Leganto, but when they rollover it doesn't take effect.
This is counter-intuitive for us, since instructor rollover is precisely the situation where the library has previously seen the list so doesn't need to review it again.
Can instructor rollover be included in the scope of the autopublishon_create functionality?
Or even better, instead of a binary true/false setting, it could take a list of different situations so libraries can choose when they want auto-publish to take effect: eg new lists, instructor rollover,…

Section details visible and editable in Alma, also for citation-free reading lists
Librarians should be able to view and edit section details in Alma, the same way they can in Leganto.
Sometimes instructors fill the section's description field with a citation or the list itself, which librarians working exclusively in Alma won't notice. Worse, if the list doesn't have any actual citation (even though the instructor might think they have added them), the section description field won't show and potential mistakes won't necessarily be discovered and fixed.
In other words, we would like both the section title and section description fields to be visible and editable in Alma when these fields are…

Enable customization of new edition tag
Use case: a librarian identifies an open textbook, or other title that would make a good replacement since an ebook of the prescribed text cannot be obtained. This is NOT a new edition of the title, but the functionality can be used to good effect in this scenario.
There are other scenarios for using the new edition functionality where the system tag "New edition" is not meaningful. We would like to customise it to something like "Alternative Suggested"
The notifications labels for this are customisable so it makes sense that the tag should be customisable too.

Improve handling of expired user accounts for course owners during rollovers
For rollovers we copy the collaborators from the original list and usually this is OK, however we then start getting bounce back emails for Leganto notifications being sent to email addresses that are no longer active.
A couple of options that would be helpful...
1. Provide option in the integration parameters to prevent an expired collaborator being copied on rollover
2. Job report to provide a warning that a course owner/collaborator has an expired user account19 votes -
Expanding Parent Lists – changes reflected on children lists
The new functionality of Parent lists (12/22) allowing folks to easily identify, and copy parent lists is appreciated. However, we feel that the functionality needs to be made further functional by allowing updates to the parent list to be reflected on the active copied or children lists. As it currently stands it’s exceedingly time-consuming to manage changes and broken links as it requires staff to make updates in multiple locations.

Ability to configure order of course terms
When applying multiple course terms to a course, we would like to arrange them in a logical order that makes sense to Instructors ie the main teaching period first, followed by other teaching periods. However, currently course terms automatically order alphabetically by the description. Could we have the ability to configure the order in which we would like our course terms to display? Thanks.

Enable a forced SSO login for users accessing openly published reading lists Leganto via a CMS.
We publish all of our reading lists to "Anyone Full" which means that anyone with a link can access the list; we have partners or prospective students who may need to view the lists. Access to subscribed resources is restricted to registered users and anyone without a university login cannot access the links to resources, they can only view the citations.
Currently when students login to a reading list through Moodle, they automatically enter the list as a Guest and there is no prompt to login (unless you add a message to the list) which means that users may miss…

Show explanation when file removal is disabled
When instructorremovefile = true, instructors get the option to delete a file as long as that file hasn't gone through the copyright clearance process. If it is in/has gone through copyright clearance, the option disappears - but there's no explanation why, so it's confusing to them.
It would be beneficial to show instructors a brief explanation that file removal has been disabled because it's subject to copyright clearance.

If reading list can be restored, do not purge citations when deleting a course
If you have configured the setting deletereadinglist to logical, then deleted reading lists can be restored.
However, if you delete a course that has a reading list attached, and then wish to restore the deleted reading list, the citations on the list have been purged.
If you have set a deleted reading list to be able to be restored, it does not make sense to purge the citations on the list. We would like citations to also be able to be restored when the deletereadinglist setting is logical.

Enable subscribed content for class discussion and assignments
(I'm not sure if this comes under the roadmap item "Support websites for Read and Respond assignments and Social Reading" or if it would be additional work.)
We have a lot of subscribed content where (depending on publisher T&Cs) we don't have a license to save a PDF in our reading list for class discussion etc.
It would be useful if Leganto could embed the content in a frame or similar (letting the student login where necessary, either by single sign on or EZproxy or some other method) so that it's not stored on the system but lecturers can still…

Enable embedded videos for assignments and class discussions
(I'm not sure if this comes under the roadmap item "Support websites for Read and Respond assignments and Social Reading" or if it would be additional work.)
Currently instructors use a third-party tool where they can paste in a YouTube video link and the video is embedded in a page where students can add comments at relevant points. (So comments are associated with a timestamp.) This is like social annotation as students can see each others' comments in order to have a discussion, but the instructor is also able to grade each student's participation and send grades back to the…

Push citation due dates to student To Do list
In the LMS, students use the To Do list to keep track of course deadlines. Instructors would like the due dates entered in their reading lists to be included there, but currently citations have to be added to an assignment to make that happen. An assignment is not always needed or wanted, so functionality would be improved for the instructor if due dates for citations were automatically pushed to the To Do list in the LMS. Students would benefit from having all due dates in the same place.

Enable class discussion for assignments
Currently it looks like instructors can choose to enable class discussion on a citation OR set up a read and respond assignment. Sometimes they want to combine the functionalities: set up a reading for the class to discuss together, and the instructor then grades students based on their participation.
Read and Respond assignments should have the option for instrutors to either set up student responses to be private between student and instructors (the default) or to be an open class discussion but with grading still available.
Libraries should be able to disable the open class discussion option on an institutional…
