Fix citations reverting to older editions when added from the 'Rialto search scope' in Leganto
The current problem occurs when we use the Rialto search scope in Leganto to find a new edition of a book, and we already hold previous edition(s) of the same title. When we add the title to the reading list, it associates to the ISBN of previous editions and the citation reverts to an older held version. This is the opposite of what we want it to do, we want it to be used to highlight where a new edition is available so we can begin a purchase of this new content - which would be in ProQuest's interests too!

Secure access to restricted image files via the thumbnail
Guest users are able to access restricted image files via the thumbnail.
When the institution has specifically restricted access to files, then guest users should not be able to view or download the file.
However, for images, Leganto creates a thumbnail which is visible to guests. Worse than this, if the user right clicks the thumbnail they can then view or save the image file.
This is a breach of the security configuration and may infringe copyright or permissions for use of the image.
We would expect that for guests (or signed-in users who are restricted (eg. not a student…

Cite It support for Oxford Academic platform
Oxford Academic was introduced a couple of years ago as the new platform for Oxford University Press journal content. This should ideally be supported by Cite It, as it is a heavily used resource across all subjects.

Display percentage of copyright item
Currently when a lecturer puts through a copyright clearance form, it shows them the page range in Leganto, and in Alma it shows librarians the page range, the total required pages, and the total number of pages in the full item. We'd like it to also display the percentage, where this can be calculated.
Eg if a book is 400 pages and someone requests clearance for pages 21-40:
In Alma on the Approval Request screen where the librarian sees:
"Resource Total Pages
400
Required Pages
21-40
Total Required Pages
20"we'd like to also see
"Percentage
5%"And if possible…

Control order of list display for multiple lists associated with a course
For courses which have multiple lists, each of which may have a time focus, the display order of lists is not always as desired by the title sort alone, e.g. Week 1 vs Week 11. It would be useful to be able to control the order of list display when there are multiple lists.

File Upload Copyright options to be visible when loading on the screen
When a reading list creator uploads a file into a reading list, the File Upload Copyright options are not all immediately visible. If there is more than three, it is necessary to scroll down to see the rest of them.
It would be preferable if all File Upload Copyright options could be visible when the sections loads.

Remove an individual user from all courses/lists where they are an instructor/owner
This is only currently possible as a bulk process using the reading list 'Remove all owners' job, or by using the course uploader. This is inefficient in cases where an individual member of staff leaves or is no longer teaching on a specified module and therefore needs to be manually removed as a list owner / course instructor.

Add a function to batch remove the tags in Leganto
Since the in structures can add the tags to the citation in Leganto, but Library staff may need to remove the tags one by one, it is necessary to add a function that the Library staff can remove the tags in batch.

Ability to configure a list or citation status change if citation is edited or tagged after being set to Complete
After a citation is set to Complete, if the instructor makes further changes to the citation, e.g. editing the metadata or adding a tag, there is no indication to library staff that a change has been made and the citation may require further processing, such as moving the item to high demand. We would like the ability to configure Leganto to update the status of a citation or list if an item is edited after being Set Complete.

Have statuses in the task list match reading list statuses
In Alma, librarians can be presented with different "tasks" in the task list, including for example
"Unassigned - Ready for processing" and "Unassigned - Processing".I'm not sure why Being Prepared and Ready for Processing are gathered under the label Processing in the task list, as only Ready for Processing means the library has to act upon it. This also means that "Processing" might overlap with the just "Ready for processing" task.
It would be more convenient and logical to use the actual statuses, and only them in the task list. It would also avoid duplicates as for example "Unassigned…

API for course enrollment
In September (2019) there was added a job in Alma that makes it possible to enabe a link between a student and a course so that the user is associated with the course. More information: https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Leganto/Product_Documentation/Leganto_Online_Help_(English)/Leganto_Administration_Guide/Configuring_Leganto_Integration_Profiles/Configuring_Importing_Course_Enrollment_Jobs
We see that this may be an useful feature, but we think that it would be more useful to be able to create this link using API instead of a filebased internal job in Alma.
This would make it easier to make the updates in real-time and use a message queue-based architecture.
Could such API be added to the API-suite for Leganto/Alma?

Simplify copyright clearance request workflow
Currently instructors create an item, upload a file, and select the kind of copyright (eg self-declared, or no declaration, etc). At this point it looks to the instructor as if they've done everything they need to do. Nothing reminds them they need to also fill out a copyright clearance form, or where to find it (since this involves opening the item in a completely different way). As a result we expect most instructors will forget/skip this important step.
We'd like the instructors to be able to do everything on a single screen. Ie when they create the item, they should…

Define course dates automatically from LTI launch
Currently when creating a course via LTI, the course name, course code, and course ID are automatically filled in. But the course start date and end date aren't, so default to the dates configured as default in Alma, or to the current day's date.
This is extra work for the library to maintain and/or for lecturers to update, and this risks errors creeping in which could affect our copyright clearance reporting.
Can the course dates data be automatically brought across via LTI into the Leganto course?

Automatically set citation to "Complete" after "Resource Locate"; and to "Ready for Processing" after "Detach from Repository" in Alma
User Story:
As a Library staff who needs to process Reading List Citations in Alma, I want Citation to be automatically set to Complete following a "Resource Locate", as these resources are within the Institutional Alma Repository. This would resolve the additional "Set Complete" clicking required for each citation, and improve the work efficiency of Library staff.
I also want completed Citations to be automatically set to Ready for Processing following "Detach from Repository", as they may require follow up actions. This can reduce any chance of an unprocessed citation remaining "Complete" status, and reduce frustration for the reading list…5 votes -
Show Course Term, Course Year, and Academic Department in the header of "Edit reading list" page in Alma
When staff are working on reading lists in Alma from the Reading List task list, they go into a list - the Edit Reading List page, and the top of the page gives some summary information in a header above the citations, however this header lacks some simple but helpful reference information about the course (where relevant), i.e.
Course term
Course Year
Academic Department
It would be useful to add these so as not to lose the context of what you are working on when going in and out of many reading lists over time.5 votesAvailable in July release
