Fix citations reverting to older editions when added from the 'Rialto search scope' in Leganto
The current problem occurs when we use the Rialto search scope in Leganto to find a new edition of a book, and we already hold previous edition(s) of the same title. When we add the title to the reading list, it associates to the ISBN of previous editions and the citation reverts to an older held version. This is the opposite of what we want it to do, we want it to be used to highlight where a new edition is available so we can begin a purchase of this new content - which would be in ProQuest's interests too!
We would love to use this search scope (and to encourage academics to use it to keep their lists up to date), as the Rialto citations give much better metadata than citing from Amazon or other publisher website, and do not include erroneous e-links, BUT unless this functionality is fixed the Rialto search scope is of no use to us, which is really disappointing.
As of May 2023, Leganto no longer tries to locate resources that are added to a reading list using the Rialto search scope in Leganto.

Oh, I'm disappointed to hear this! We were thinking about enabling the Rialto search scope for the same purpose. If it reverts to older editions it's not really useful.
