An error occurred while saving the comment It would be useful for us to be able to convert purchase requests into resource sharing requests. In addition to the "we referred it to acquisitions but they can't buy it" scenario, we've also found some people put stuff that's better obtained through resource sharing into the purchase request form (e.g. individual journal articles)

An error occurred while saving the comment Another approach might be to have this set based on the licence attached to the collection, so this information only needs to be managed in one place (rather than the ILL terms being added to the licence and then the electronic collection needing to be updated separately)

Yes, it would be nice if these could be prevented. Ideally borrowers should use mediation rules to catch them before they go out but it seems like that's not happening in a lot of cases.
