Have statuses in the task list match reading list statuses
In Alma, librarians can be presented with different "tasks" in the task list, including for example
"Unassigned - Ready for processing" and "Unassigned - Processing".
I'm not sure why Being Prepared and Ready for Processing are gathered under the label Processing in the task list, as only Ready for Processing means the library has to act upon it. This also means that "Processing" might overlap with the just "Ready for processing" task.
It would be more convenient and logical to use the actual statuses, and only them in the task list. It would also avoid duplicates as for example "Unassigned All lists 100" and "Unassigned Processing 93" give less information that "Unassigned Being prepared 93" and "Unassigned Complete 7".

Just to add to this idea. Given that it is possible for institutions to define additional reading list statuses, it would be a very useful additional aspect of the tasklist could show certain additional statuses, it would give a useful workflow control tool to the tasklist and make them even more useful as Emmanuelle set out for the standard RL statuses. It should be noted that the "new" RL status of Rolled over is not in the task list although it could usefully be added.
"Processing" as a combination of individual statuses in the Alma Task Widget/tasklist is not a useful actionable task, nor is complete really (especiallly now we have much improved Solr faceting in the RL TaskList page/and with the assigned/all lists tabs and processing department splits).

This is a good idea and would really help to make the tasks widget much more usable, rather than just showing grouped generalities "Processing" being the most unhelpful, but the Tasks widget also shows the total of old work completed under "unassigned - Complete" which is really not an actionable "task" at all - just a statement of the total unassigned lists sat in the system ever (no active course relation etc).
