Add Library Discussion Notes to Analytics Course Reserves subject area
The full text of Public Notes can be surfaced in Analytics reports, but we would like this to be possible for Library Discussion Notes too, so that they can be managed more easily.

Cite It support for Oxford Academic platform
Oxford Academic was introduced a couple of years ago as the new platform for Oxford University Press journal content. This should ideally be supported by Cite It, as it is a heavily used resource across all subjects.

Allow instructors to add/remove tags to citations in bulk
This would save a considerable amount of staff time spent adding tags to citations individually, and would encourage instructors to make use of the tags we have provided.

Change default thumbnail icons for 'Music' and 'Score' citation types
These citation types currently have the same generic thumbnail image. Could they be differentiated, perhaps by using a speaker or headphone symbol for music citations and a treble clef for scores?

Add new citation types for music/video formats
Would it be possible to add new citation types for DVD, CD, etc.

Filter My Collection by citation type
Could a citation type filter be added to My Collection? This would help users to organise and find citations without having to rely on assigning individual tags.

Option for instructors to hide suggested items panel from student view
Some instructors would prefer students to contact them directly with reading list suggestions. Could an option be added to suppress the suggested items panel from student view, similar to how the student discussion thread can be hidden.

Assign list owners/collaborators in bulk
The Feb 2018 release enabled us to remove all list owners/collaborators as manual bulk job. Could the same functionality be provided for adding new users?

Allow students to filter list according to read/unread status
Students would find it useful if they could display only the items which they still need to read.

Allow items added by Cite It to also be added to My Collection
Our instructors and students have suggested this enhancement. Currently they can only add items to a list or My Collection with Cite It, there's no option to add to both.
0 votesCite It! includes an Add button, in addition to the Add and Close button. Users can select a list, click Add and the select the collection and click Add and Close.

Deactivate Likes together with disabling of student discussion
It is currently possible to deactivate student discussions on reading lists, but the Likes/hearts are still visible even then.
We would like it to be deactivated as well, or have the possibility to do so, when student discussion is turned off.

Option to export a list sorted alphabetically (without sections and with unique citations)
With March Release it is now possible to sort citations within sections alphabetically before exporting the list to Word.
We would like an additional option: to export the reading list as if it was a reference list:
- sorted by author name according to the chosen reference style
- without section
- with unique references only (if a the same citation is used in two sections it just appear only once)Key fields to define if a citation is unique or not should be title and ISBN but also author and publication year in case there is no ISBN in…

Improve the visibility of "Publish" list option
We have noticed quite a number of Instructor created lists remain in Draft in error, as Instructors are not always aware when a list is 'draft' or 'published'. The option to 'publish' is hidden within the Resource List options menu. Instead, it would be useful if the 'publish' option appeared as a visible button and hence be easier to find and also possibly serve as a reminder to publish a list.

Disable or hide the integration with Facebook
Institutions should be left the choice to hide or disable the integration with Facebook.
Some institutions have for example a policy where they don't allow users to change their profile pictures, so the "Connect to facebook" feature is not welcome.

Improved Citation Alert Management Functionality for UI
It would streamline the workflow significantly if Citation Alert Notes which are represented by the green dot in the Reading List View could include what contents of the Note actually are. This would save the workflow 3 extra clicks into the citation to edit it, checking the Notes Tab and having to then back out again to the Reading List. There is also significant work in having to clear an Alert once seen and or action, where the staff member has to select the citation, scroll to the top of the list, choose the Actions Menu, and select the Remove…

Conformation and Manual Linking for Resource Locate actions on Citations
It would be great if, using the option to Resource Locate on a citation, there was an option to confirm/decline that the correct inventory was matched through the process before the link takes place.
If we also had the option to manually search for the correct inventory when declining in the above step when the Resource Locate fails to link to the correct inventory, between both of these options we could ensure that the citation links to the inventory we intend.
This would solve the problem which is faced now, that when Resource Locate is used and Alma determines and…

Ability to Re-Associate Reading List with new Course after copyright records and completed citations are present in the List
It would be very useful to be allowed to re-associate and incorrectly associated reading list with the correct course in Alma after work has begun processing the citations inside the Reading List.
When an Academic associates their Legato Reading list to a Course, in some cases this is done incorrectly and assigned to the wrong course, which needs correcting. It is currently not possible to simply re-associate a Reading List to a new Course if work on that reading list has started, and there are completed Citations with Copyright Records.
The only workaround at present is to change a value…

Citation Copyright Attributes Can Also Calculate With Roman Numerals
It would be of great help if Alma could take into account and calculate when Roman Numerals are used in the Required Pages fields of a Copyright Attribute. At the moment Alma cannot calculate pages copied if Required Pages are in Roman Numerals and this is a very frequent occurrence.
Notice in the attached the Total Required Pages is greyed out and not calculated.1 voteAvailable in November release

Allow 'learning technologist' role to see all lists/course information associated with a specific Academic Department
As we work with Academic Departments, we increasingly find that a departmental colleague has a key role as a "learning technologist" or admin in the VLE (CMS) Blackboard Moodle, Canvas etc etc. In order to help them manage and support reading list creation across an entire department it would really help if it was possibly to associate a User in Alma with an Academic department so they could see all the lists associated with that department, whether draft or published.
NB because of the numbers, this idea would return us to the issue of librarians seeing too much in My…
