After logged in Tile rearranging according to the screen size breaks spacial memory
After logged into my.monash, the tiles rearranging itself based on the screen size its a cool teh demo however it it breaks people's spacial memory. A break-point based solution might be better.
Suggestion to have:Defined break points by main device types e.g. desktop, laptop, iPhone. See icloud.com's design: 5 or 7 icons across. No more. No less.

Moodle Event overview button to link to the moodle event overview page
Currently, the Moodle integrated tile has a button called 'Events' which does not deep link to the events overview page on the moodle website.
We would like the button to link to the 'Events overview' page

Increase banner file size allowance
The design team struggle to reduce the file size of the banner to the required 30K without it reducing the quality of the images if they are using photographs.
Please increase the size of the allowance to 100K3 votes -
Limit the classes showing on Moodle tile by start/end date
Moodle live tile currently shows a student all their classes. Fresno would like the option to be able to limit this to only the classes they are currently enrolled in and remove classes from past terms.

Overhaul how customer/app roles and notification groups are displayed and managed
The management of roles and groups is inconsistent and doesn't scale for managing large numbers of them.
When selection roles to change it would be good to have a search filter to help find the right one.
In 'Change an app role' the drop-down for Customer role and the pop-up check list for Alert Groups does scale for when there are many roles/groups to select from. This would benefit greatly from being rethought.

Search box needs an X to delete function
Assuming may apply to other apps too.
When searching, the app remembers the previous search eg IEEE transactions on software engineering.
There is no way to delete this other than backspace for many characters.
Most search boxes have an X function to delete the whole previous search in one go. Please can you add this?

Pass errors directly back from connect layer
Currently, if the connect layer encounters an error while retrieving data, it passes back an HTML file with an HTTP 200 status code, as in the example below. It would be helpful if instead it would pass the error back to the client directly, with error messages and HTTP error status codes, as a normal web server would.

Attendance Check-in: Check-in not required not visible on check-in screen
If Attendance Exclude flag deems attendance at a class is not required. This should be reflected on the Check-in screen. Currently the only way a student knows a check-in is not required is on history tab.
Either student should not be able to check-in if not required to, or check-in not required should be displayed on check-in screen.
Note: also currently records check-in as invalid when checking in to a class where check-in not required.

Product Integration (Events) - Improvements
Currently you have to select an initial filter (if enabled), then a date and campus filter (if enabled) to view events. It would be better if the date was not mandatory to display events - but as a date filter within the list of events.
The current search functionality within events is limited to the filter(s) and date selected. An improvement for this would be to allow searching across all filters and dates.
Lastly, the event list and event details views could be improved:
Events list - in addition to the current information displayed it would be good to also…

Attendance: Allow lecturer to select all students In Check-In
Allow a lecturer to check in a large list of students at once on the Check-in screen. The "Select all" button can be a useful feature.

Content area sub-menus and pages role targeting
We often have to create slightly different versions of content areas for different user roles. This means that any changes have to be managed on multiple tiles. It would be good if instead we could create a single content area, but have the menus and pages within target specified roles.

MDXApp Notifications message preview
The way that notifications currently appear from the App is by showing 'New message from MDXApp'.
In order to improve engagement with the notifications, is there any way to change that to show up as a drop down preview of the message being sent instead, that displays a part of of the notifications content.
This would be more similar to the way other applications' notifications show up on your phone and could improve our engagement rate with students.

Notifications - Transform message to audio file alongside original text
Just having a discussion around the possibility for students to choose to listen to the content of any notifications rather than read them. Perhaps especially helpful for the quick change to rooms and emergency situations.
Students usually have their earbuds in and a ping and voice message (even computer generated) may be a better option for the situation rather than having to pull the phone-out and retrieve /read the message.

Ad-Hoc Tile Resize
After a series of focus groups with approximately 20 students, a common request was for the ability to resize tiles (width/height) themselves. Currently tile size is statically configured from the admin side, but students would like ability to resize certain tiles in an ad-hoc manner depending on what they personally prioritize (more specifically than what is determined by role).

Add images to quick polls
Add images next to the checkbox instead of text in the quick polls.
We've recently had a design contest where we wanted to display designs for students to vote on.
Our workaround was simply displaying the options and then linking off to the quick polls to actually vote. Less than ideal, so images instead of text in the quick poll would be awesome

One time code - earlier tutor access
For attendance one time codes to be available to tutors 48 hours before the class. We are getting a lot of pushback from academics who each the first hour of the day and they are struggling to get the one time code alongside everything else they have to do

Greater range of tolerances for geo-location verification
Rather than the existing three tolerances (50m, 250m and 500m) for verifying attendance check-ins by geo-locations, allow more fine grained control. This could be done by either allowing an institution to specify an exact value (e.g. "123m") or by extending the existing tolerances so their is one for every 50m between 500m and 50m.
This will allow institutions with different campus layouts and building density to more accurately verify attendance check-ins.

Set geo-location validation by rooms rather an institution wide
Rather than the exiting method of validating geo-location attendance check-ins via a single institution-wide value for tolerance, instead allow this tolerance to be set on a room-by-room basis (with perhaps a default value where no value is supplied).
This would allow institutions greater ability to adapt the geo-location validation for their campus buildings.
