Profiles for Rosetta-Aleph-Integration
we are using the Rosetta-Aleph-Integration in both directions:
1. creating the CMS-record in Rosetta and
2. setting the Rosetta-flag in Aleph as well as updating the Aleph record with the URN created in Rosetta.
In the past there was only one target field for the URN and the assignCMS task with updateURNTask worked without problems.Due to changes in the cataloging rules - we are using now the international RDA-rules - we have to deal now with different target fields in Aleph for the URN depending on the type of material: e-only e-books, digital reproductions of printed books, online versions…

Searching for Derivative Copies
As a Preservation System, Rosetta does not record any detail relating to Derivative Copy content in the METS. This is not inconsistent with Digital Preservation philosophy, but it does mean that Derivative Copy contents cannot be discovered using a Search Query or API calls from external applications. This seems to conflict with Ex Libris’ spruiking of Rosetta as a DAMS, since all content within a traditional DAMS (including Derivative material) can to be searched and accessed using standardized queries. If the DAMS operability is going to be further developed in Rosetta, will Ex Libris add further functionality to discover Derivative…

IIIF Universal Viewer - email Options
Require the option to allow ‘email’ from the viewer.
Would like to configure the at least following information as part of the ‘email’ option
- Descriptive metadata
- Handle / PI identifier
- URL to image
Allow the customer to enter
1. Subject
2. To email address
3. Their own email address
It may be useful to include a ‘captcha’ block to prevent misuse of this function.1 vote -
Pass hostname and port into publishing XSL
Currently the XSLs in "Administration" -> "Configuration files" -> "XSL Transforms" -> "Publishing" require hardcoded hostnames and ports (because hostnames and ports are required by links going out by OAI-PMH). This requirement means that we can't use the same XSL on both the STAGING and PROD but need to make changes between the two.
Hostname and port should be passed in as parameters to the XSL, so that these don't need to be changed.

New (additional) print / download functionality with configurable / restricted amount of pages
Because of new legal situation we may offer for our users to print or download a part of restricted documents, currently 10% per session.
This means we would like to integrate an additional functionality in our viewers with a download/print button, which calculates and allows to download / print 10 percent of opened IE, only once per viewer session.
Maybe it is possible to enhance the new Rosetta "download all" feature with this requirement? From user guidance we see this at the same position and configurable via delivery rules too.

UI interface - Deposits: Delivery XSL Files | Details xsl viewer
i have been working in the XSL viewer / editor -- to make it readable i have to copy and paste the information out of the XSL window -- reformat the information to make it readable -- however when I paste the reformatted XSL file into the Rosetta XSL editor the formatting gets lost -- for example <xsl:for-each> all of the information is wrapped back to a single line -- it would be great if the formatting is maintained in the Rosetta XSL editor

Preservation Sets - Search levels IE/REP/FILE
as a preservation manager I would appreciate to be able to switch between the search levels IE/REP/FILE when working with Preservation Sets.
I agree, that migrations are on file level, but it would be helpful to know how many IEs/which IEs are involved in a Preservation Set. The test set also shows a list of IEs. Furthermore a lot of information for toubleshouting comes on IE-Level: view problematic IEs, view skipped objects, reports on locked IEs,...1 vote -
Configure the delivery rules to display only logical structure maps, and not physical ones
We would like the ability to configure the delivery rules to display only logical structure maps, and not physical ones as for one of our institutions, we’d like NOT to deliver the physical structMap, and only the logical one.
Thanks,
Ryan

Save Set information for repeated Processes
Save Set information for repeated Processes
When setting up a recurring Process that uses a Set with different values each time, Rosetta does not keep a record of the Set values each time it is generated, so that you cannot Rerun the previous Process instances in History. We propose a change to the recording of Set metadata so that each time a Set is used, its values are stored, thus allowing a Historical Process to be rerun at a later date. An example is rolling fixity checks, wherein a different range of SIPs are checked each day using the same…

Ability to integrate our Ingest tool with Rosetta
We are looking at supporting the ability to add a new format to our Ingest tool, in conjunction with this we would like that to trigger some type of API call to Rosetta and add the file format as an allowed format as well.
In Rosetta you can add a new file extension in the Submission Format area of the UI. We have provided the option to add a new format in our Ingest tool, So once they do this, we would like this to trigger an some type of API call to Rosetta and add the new file extension…

Additional Rosetta Collections REST API
The current Rosetta REST APIs return infromation about a collection structure.
We would like a REST API which will return all of the IEs attached to a Rosetta Collection
The information is currently stored in the Oracle VIEW COLLECTIONMEMBERSVIEW

Support Oracle Internet Directory
Support OID as an alternative to tnsnames.ora in Oracle Installation. OID is the DNS like service for Oracle that we use heavily in our institution.

Rosetta UX
I am currently working in Rosetta 5.4 and there are a couple of UX isues that would make using the prodiuct a lot easier.
One of these is on the pull down list. It pwiuld be good if the pull-down lists were sorted alphabetically - for example when adding a New Deposit Material flow when I access the 'Select conent structure' the list that is display is in some sort of order but it is definettly not alphabetical

Wasted space in General IE Viewer
I've noticed that there is a lot of repeated information at the top of the General IE Viewer that pushes the meat of the viewer - the image or media content - down. It would be great to have this redesigned so that each of the options and information is not repeated. See the attached image or go to http://hdl.handle.net/10020/2004r10/job5251 to see an example.
