Show loans/fines as a pop-up when signing in to Primo (New UI)
We think it would be useful to show users their current loans (especially overdues) and any fines in a small pop up window whenever they sign in to Primo, rather than waiting for them to go to My Account specifically.

I think only the things needing action from the patron should be shown = overdues, fines, pick up notices - certainly not all current loans.

Not only should the user be able to see their fines, what about staff ? Currently, one has access the user's record to view fines. We do not wish to loan out materials when user has outstanding fines.

I think that you're right, Stacey, it would have to be an opt-in function as not everyone would want to have it enabled.

If this was introduced, I would definitely like it to be opt-in only, as I would not like to make our users have to see and click past a popup every time they just want to do a search.
