Embargoed resources displaying in Primo
Currently records from within an embargo period are discover-able to end-users via Primo.
The user then thinks we have access to the records and selects it only to be presented with No full text available.
Embargoed records are outside of our coverage range and should not display in our discovery interface.60 votes -
Display Interface Display Label
Have the ability to configure the Display Interface Display Logic label to display if an item is loanable, library use only, etc based on the patron who logins in or a guest viewer.
Currently by default the labels will show 'loanable' in the Display Interface Display Logic configuration. It's only possible to configure the label for all guests.

EZProxy (Primo institution wizard) more granular application against specific collections
Currently in Primo institution wizard (Primo Home > Ongoing Configuration Wizards > Institution Wizard > Delivery Base URLs) you can enter an EZProxy base URL. If a proxy is added it will be applied to all Link in Record type resources (though there is the option to exclude OA collections). I would like more granularity so that we could choose to apply the proxy to certain Link in Record type collections, but not to apply the proxy to others.

Adding reset button to the volume filter in the GetIt tab
The filter in the GetIt tab allows users to filter the display of the volumes by year, volume or description.
It would be helpful to add a reset button that will reset the values chosen and display all values available.
Currently, in order to reset the values in the fields chosen the patron must click on the arrow for the drop-down menu of each field (year, volume, description) and choose the value ALL23 votes -
German search character conversion - combined vowels representing umlauted letter as well as umlauted letter
In German, an "umlaut" over a letter can be represented with the two dots over the letter, or as a vowel combination, e.g. Anfänge or Anfaenge. If the user searches any of these (or just the un-umlauted letter), we'd like them to see results that contain all the variants.
Ex Libris investigated the configurations for character conversion in searching/indexing, and suggested filing a Primo enhancement:
" it is not currently possible to convert ü into u and also into ue. This would be an enhancement request. "
Which we will do, but wanted to float it here also.

course reserve
Course Reserves:
Requested Enhancement: Offer interface with drop-down menus for Course Title, Course Department, and Course Instructor (similar to drop-down menus in Voyager)Currently users can search for course reserves, but there is not a good mechanism to browse. Offering drop-down menus would easily allow users to see what was currently on course reserve by course title, department and instructor.

[Primo] - allow to set up a default view, i.e. the landing view for the user when view ID is missing or mistyped
Right now the 'default' view in Primo is the 'out of the box' view, named 'default', which is normally used as template by user for creating the View actually in use. And that's fine.
But the customer should be allowed to define which view sahll be used as default View in the Primo instance. Current feature "Session timeout URL" is not enough.
- In case for example of mistyping the URL, the system leads to the 'default/otb' view.
- If a View is deleted but a user has a bookmark, again the system leads to the 'default/otb' view.It should…

Add Sort by Date to Favorites
Currently the sort options in the Favorites list are: Date added, Author, or Title.
Our users would like to be able to sort by date-newest like they can for search results. Many users are interested in most recent material so date-newest is a valuable sort option for them.15 votes -
Allow Lateral Links to Perform a Browse Search
Our library consortium would like to have the links in the details section of the record display bring the user to the browsable index. That way, if a record has a subject of "Library catalogs", the user would get a list of clickable subject headings with subdivisions so as to either find more records with the same subject or records with a more narrow focus:
Library catalogs
Library catalogs and readers [see Library catalogs and users]
Library catalogs and users
Library catalogs and users--Australia--PErth (W.A.)
Library catalogs and users--Bibliography.
Library catalogs and users--Case studies.
Library catalogs and users--Congresses

Primo - Pay Fines Link - don't show when there are no fines
The Pay Fines in Library Card/Account section of Primo displays even when a user has no fines.
Clicking the link takes the user through to our payment provider allowing them to attempt to pay a fine/fee of zero.
It would be a notable improvement to the user experience if this link only displayed when there was actually a fine/fee to be paid.

Put useful data into the RSS feeds created by Primo
Technically RSS feeds created by Primo are working. But from a content perspective the feed is a mess.
Let's start with the feed header:
Primo delivers <rss version="2.0">
The standard specification are at http://www.rssboard.org/rss-specification . It was published in August 2002. The RSS 2.0 specification is copyrighted by Harvard University and is frozen. Please use RFC 4287 also known as Atom.
https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc4287
It is simply the better option for may reasons.
http://www.intertwingly.net/wiki/pie/Rss20AndAtom10ComparedThe description of the feed is <title>Records from Primo</title> .
As a user I would like to see my search terms in the feed title - like in…55 votes -
Table of Contents Display
It would be nice to have the table of contents field (505) formatted in a more user friendly manner within PrimoVE. In Voyager there was a rule that converted the ' -- ' to <LF><CR> (which is 'Enter').
I have attached examples of how it displays in our Voyager OPAC vs PrimoVE.

“My Favorites” pin should indicate number of records in favorites
In the Primo New UI, there is the “my favorites” pin icon at the top right of the screen (screenshot below of the pin). We ran some usability surveys and found that users would like an indication, via the icon, that something is there. Like the number if pinned items and/or a different color indicating that something is there.

Virtually browse by category of locations
We would like to have the function to allow patron virtually browsing category of locations, so that patron can realize which location they are browsing. We have some special shelf which is out of side the library of congress call number arrangement.

Ability to restrict number of characters displayed in Description field
In the Detailed Results, it would be good to have the ability to configure the Description field so that it displays only a certain number of characters by default, while also allowing users to expand the field to get the full description (similar to the way the Summary field in Syndetics Unbound works).

Why is ExL using a large X as a navigation tool in the new UI?
When I first came across this X, I thought it was a coding fault. It does not seem (to me) intuitive that you should click on it to return to the previous screen. A small x on the top RH corner of the open window would make more sense.
