  1. Allow analytics to display what resources are most selected after a certain search query

It would be great to see which resources are most selected after a certain search query.

This wouldn't even have to be an exhaustive list-- even just seeing the top three selected results for the top 100 search strings would help us better tailor recommendations (particularly in Resource Recommender) for popular search terms.

  2. Primo Analytics - Ability to report on all search strings, not just Popular and Zero Results

Primo Analytics currently only includes search string data for Popular and Zero Results subject areas. It would be a vast improvement to be able to see all search string results.
Note: This functionality is available via BIRT, but only by individual reports by first letter of the alphabet, which are unwieldy and essentially unusable in loading so slowly (and often not at all).

  3. Search Slot/Scope/Profile Usage in Primo Analytics

We would like to be able to report the total number of searches that have been performed in each search/slot/scope/profile that we have configured in Primo. Currently the only report in Analytics that has Search Scope search information is the Zero Results Report.

This information will provide invaluable information about our user behaviour and will help us in the customization of the Primo interface to meet the needs of our clients by assisting in decisions regarding adding or removing search profiles/scopes.

  4. Primo Analytics: ability to report on Primo API usage

Idea: Ability to report on Primo API usage (e.g. number of searches, search terms and source of API calls).

Include usage of Primo Front End and API as part of Primo Analytics so that both can be aggregated and analysed.

Developer Network API Analytics is not sufficient and does not provide the essential information we are looking for, e.g. search terms.

  5. Primo Analytics: extracts the usernames related to failed logins

It would be great -with Primo analytics- building an analysis that extracts the usernames related to failed logins

  6. Provide Statistics about use of Primo Central Collections

It would be great if we can asses the usage of our licensed content via Primo. This will be valuable for our licensing decisions, as well it would be interesting for the hosts (Thomson Reuters, ProQuest...).

For instance, we like to know:

    • how often users view metadata (i.e. open details tab) of records from ProQuest's Collection for Dissertations & Theses

    • what is the ratio of view metadata to request fulltexts from the collection?

    • which providers (Thomson Reuters, ProQuest, ...) are used most (view + download), what are the top collections of each provider?

  7. A report of "full text available" records in Primo Central for each institution

It would be great to be able to get a report of the institutional holdings that have been matched to records in Primo Central, so that they are indexed as "full text available" for the institution. This would enable libraries to see which active portfolios in each SFX KB target / Alma CZ collection are indexed at all in Primo Central, and how much of the holdings of each serial are indexed. Libraries could then use this to indicate to users which journals and collections cannot be found in Primo Central. It would also be useful to see gaps in…

  8. Add user group information to reports

The Primo analytics shall provide the option to display the user's usage based on the user group definition.
