    Hello,

    We will reach out to TeachingBooks and request metadata for their collections.

    Please note that TeachingBooks currently does not share metadata with us, so establishing a new metadata feed may take longer than it would with providers that already supply regular updates.

    Hi Tamar,

    Thank you for your response. I mentioned Mas Complete eBook collection was just to give a context for the Mas Reference eBook Collection. The Mas Reference eBook Collection is what our request about. I could no longer find the reference of the context any more on the Internet. However, the heart of the issue is: We have access to the MAS Reference eBook collection, but it is not in CZ.

    From the EBSCOhost collections short name list (https://connect.ebsco.com/s/article/EBSCOhost-Database-Short-Names-List), it only lists MAS Reference eBook Subscription, and there is no "Mas Complete eBook collection". So we pretty much can ignore the mention of it. The Mas Reference eBook collection is what we want to activate in CZ.

    We also have discovered that if we click on the descriptive record of Mas Complete eBook collection in CZ (ID: 615470000000000407), 245 and 520 actually say "MAS Reference eBook Collection". My guess is, perhaps this is actually the Mas Reference eBook Collection with the name of the collection mixed up.

    If EBSCOhost said both collections have the same title list, then if the name of the Mas Complete eBook collection is changed to Mas Reference eBook Collection to match the descriptive record, then we can activate it to link to our collection in IZ.

    Following Ex Libris’s recent request, we added the new linking parameters to two Naxos databases so as to activate their database CDI contents and make the link in records urls work. The link in records now appear in Primo, but where are our public notes in the databases? Our Naxos databases have concurrent users restriction, and we need to let our users know. Besides, the users have to click on a special icon in the vendor’s website in order to end their sessions. Just by closing the browser will not end their sessions. These are all in our public notes to alert users. ** If Ex Libris can now export the new linking parameters from Alma to combine with the CDI link in records urls, why can’t they export the public notes + authentication notes to the CDI link in records as well? If this is not fixed, it will come up again and again as a PROBLEM.

    It is important to allow us to be able to attach collections to closed/cancelled po lines. Why? Because Ex Libris informed us that we have to switch our titles to another collection because of name change or for other reasons. The titles were already paid for several years ago, and the po lines were closed/cancelled. Changes happen all the time and Alma should be made more flexible to accommodate any changes happening in the real world.
