    Yes please!

    We started using Resource Type Filter Bar this June, and we have ran into this same issue already, reported by our own staff but also by our students. There is an expectation, that when you choose "Articles" from the Filter Bar and search, that you could then filter "Articles" further within the Resource Type -facet. For example to narrow down to Review Articles or Conference Articles. Same kind of need rises for books as well, as described by Jack.

    The improvement on this would be amazing. For example to allow us to name the different slots on the Resource Type Filter Bar by ourselves, and then let us choose what Resource Types to fill that slot with. "Articles" slot to include all the resource types we deem necessary, and this would naturally be reflected within the resource type facet after searching.

  2. In Primo Research Assistant, please add the ability to pre-select filters. Specifically, we need to pre-select the available online filter.

    I agree. Some of our students have also questioned/complained, that why is RA suggesting materials they can't access.

    I think pre-selecting the "Available Online" filter would be a fantastic addition. Even better, if we could choose the default, and then also so choose whether we want to present this option to the users at all.
