  2. Create a Role so that Selectors can make changes to a Selection Plan criteria

Right now selection plans can only be created, edited, or tested by Administrators. It would be helpful to have a role where selectors could make these changes. Perhaps as a "save as draft" function where the Administrator could still be the one who has to activate the changes.

  3. Multiple selectors

Librarian selectors like that they can see if a title they would like to order is already awaiting approval. However, they would like to be able to go to the orders awaiting approval and add their name as an additional selector on that item to give it "weight/priority" to order by the Rialto manager. Could there be a way to add additional selector names as a +1 on orders awaiting approval?

How important is this to you?

    Hello Amanda,

Would the ability to add comments to orders awaiting approval cover this request? You could post a comment, tag the approver, they'd receive an email letting them know you've posted a note.

    Thank you for your suggestion.

  4. Selectors not notified when title(s) rejected

I have the roles/permissions to approve/reject titles placed in Rialto's select cart. However, when I reject titles the selector isn't notified; as far as they know, it's going ahead. I need to contact the person, list the title(s), and explain why they were rejected. I'm frankly astounded that Market doesn't do this automatically.

  5. Archiving a shared title alert

If a title alert is shared, there is no way to tell if the person or persons you share that alert with have seen it. Neither of us knows if the other has seen the list or when to archive it (ideally after all have reviewed it).

  6. New format available notification

Sometimes our librarians put titles on their personal lists, but want to wait until they come out in paperback before ordering. Is there a way for them to sign up to receive a notification when a new format becomes available for order or in stock on a specific title?

  7. Price Change Alert

Notify customers with an alert icon or popup when the price drops or increases for an item they have added to Cart or to a list.

In order to avoid alerts indicating insignificant increase or decrease (of a few cents for example), each customer should have the possibility to configure an alert threshold (as a percentage in 'Other Settings') in relation to the time when the item was originally added to Cart or the list.

  8. Display the Process Type in the Rialto Holdings Panel

The Holdings panel in the Marketplace indicates whether the title is already in the institution holdings. In some cases, the item may not be available. It would be very useful if the process type (Missing, Lost, Claimed Returned, Acquisition, Loan, Hold Shelf...) would be displayed in the panel itself. The reason why it is not available is hidden. If we see ‘Missing’ or ‘Lost’, the library may be more inclined to buy a new copy. The information is available, though after several clicks.

  9. Add fields to My List export

When staff collate items in a list they use the comments field extensively. When the list is exported to excel the comments are not included. Can the comments field be added to the export?

  10. Internal item specific notes for titles on lists

It would be great if internal notes could be added to specific items that have been added to lists, with only ppl with access to said list(s) able to see the notes. This feature would be useful for rush/reserve/replacement/special orders when the selector needs to communicate information specific to the item.

  11. Rialto Market to Alma Purchase Request Crosswalk

When Selectors put purchase requests through the Alma Purchase Request form the Purchasing Manager can push the request to Rialto Market. But when Selectors put something in Rialto Market the Purchasing Manager cannot push it to Alma Purchasing Request form. This would be extremely helpful and eliminate the need to go into Rialto, cancel the order and re-create it from scratch in the Alma Purchase Request form.

  12. Notify customers when platform vendors reject a DDA title in Rialto

When a librarian adds titles to the DDA pool and they disappear because the platform vendor has removed them, librarians want to be notified. Librarians are losing track of what has been lost. They recently become aware of lost titles because of titles that were special requests. After these became known, and it was discovered that this list was growing, a concern for untracked titles developed. How many pushed DDA titles go missing? All selectors who push DDA titles need to be sent a regular monthly report by email of the titles that were removed.

  13. Display Rialto/ProQuest prices in the Keylinks acquisition price checker

Within Keylinks (Kortext) reading lists, GOBI and Browns price information is integrated in the price checker acquisitions module. Rialto market information should also be integrated here.

  16. Ability to Set Parameters in Purchase Request Forms

We have a preferred set of publishers, platforms, and/or vendors that buy eBooks from. Currently, there is no way to set up Purchase Request Forms for our users to request ONLY from those preferred sellers.

It would be great if there was a way to define our preferred publishers (and even other facets) in the Purchase Request Form configuration, so we don't have to deny a ton of incoming requests.

  17. Blocking Titles Meeting Certain Criteria from Rialto Searches/Recommendation Feeds

It would be very helpful if Rialto administrators could completely block titles from appearing in Rialto searches, selector recommendation tools, etc. if they meet certain predefined criteria. The use case is when a library purchases complete annual ebook collections from publishers and does not want to risk duplicate purchasing. Administrators could create a "block profile" with specific publisher and year criteria and then apply it across all of Rialto so selectors don't see these titles when searching or reviewing recommendation feeds.

  18. Make Ordering Library in Rialto Default

The 'Ordering Library' field in Rialto maps to the 'PO Line Owner' field in the POL. All of our PO Lines are owned by a single location, Technical Services. We would like to have the ability to set the 'Ordering Library' field in Rialto as a default or at minimum request that this field be sticky. Also, the terminology 'Ordering Library' is often confused with shelving location which is not the same for our institution. Rialto requires the user to set the 'Ordering Library' for every order placed; since the 'Ordering Library' is always the same for our institution it…

  20. Continuous, dynamic DDA deduping based on Alma holdings

Currently, if a book is in our DDA pool, and then we acquire it in another Alma collection, the book remains in our DDA pool (allowing us to trigger a book we already have) unless we follow a tedious manual process for identifying and removing such books from the DDA pool. This enhancement would make it so our Alma holdings "talk back" to LibCentral, so if we get a new book, and if that book is in our DDA pool, it is automatically removed from the DDA pool in Rialto, Ebook Central/LibCentral, and in the Alma repository. This would reduce the…
