Displaying all links available in Summon results page
We would like to suggest ExLibris to enhance in Summon results page by displaying all fulltext links subscribed in the knowledgebase. Having only one fulltext link available when there are multiple sources available to choose from can help maximize the use of the library’s resources and most important offer users a solution when the 1st link presented doesn’t work. EJP is already doing this.
It’s kind of a problem also. The situation happened this week when the Proquest research platform was experiencing connectivity issue and performed a temporary maintenance. Because Proquest fulltext links are direct linking, the user was not presented with other options and was directed to the error message window (see screenshot attached). We understand that Summon will go to 360 Link to provide additional resources when it goes through the resolver, but not with direct link resources. Also, most users (specially first year students) will not think of checking the e-journal portal.
We hope you will consider this request and help us improve users experience in using Summon.
This has been completed as part of the Summon 2021 Roadmap.

This is a great idea which deserves support, it's good to see this with Index Direct Linking but perhaps a further improvement could be made by extending this to Open URL Resolver links as well. Will this be considered?

This is a great idea, but I've run out of votes :(

This sounds like the same idea as http://ideas.exlibrisgroup.com/forums/564566-summon/suggestions/17619577-summon-results-not-displaying-custom-coverage-date (i just voted for that one)?
