Unfortunately, Mendeley's web importer only works with single records, so it can't be used from the e-shelf.

That appears to be a wrong announcement by Ex Libris They told me recently that this "is considered as an enhancement request " etc.

This is already available, but it does not work. Latest news from Ex Libris: will be fixed in the 4.11 SP end of year release (not sure if they mean 2015 or 2016).
