Enhance "Quick Access" Section in Primo VE to Display All Files Linked to a Representation
Currently, in Primo VE, the "Quick Access" section within the detailed results page of digital titles displays only the first file linked to a representation. Users are required to open a full-screen viewer, where they can navigate through the additional files using a file navigation pane on the left. While there are arrows in the "Quick Access" section which allow users to navigate between files, this functionality is not always intuitive, and it is not immediately apparent that additional files exist beyond the first one.
To improve user experience and accessibility, I propose an enhancement to the "Quick Access" section so that it displays a full list of all files linked to a representation directly within the detailed results page. This would allow users to see all available files at a glance and select any file to access it without having to open the full-screen viewer.
Proposed Benefits:
1. Improved Intuitiveness: Users can easily see all available files in the representation without needing to rely on viewer navigation, making it clearer that additional files exist.
2. Increased Accessibility: Users can directly access the specific file they need from the search results page, saving time and clicks.
3. Enhanced User Experience: This would streamline the interaction with digital titles that have multiple files, making Primo VE a more user-friendly interface for accessing digital content.

Hi all,
This is planned to be handled in the new Primo Discovery Experience (NDE), by embedding the Digital viewer in the full display page - so all digital files will be accessible via the full record page.
Regards,
Yael.
