Adding Facets to Database Search page.
By adding a 'Facets' pane to the Database Search results page, consistency between the different search type's results will be improved and users will be able to post-filter Find Databases searches.
For example: a user would be able to filter by both subject AND resource type as used to be possible when the Metalib interface was used for the Databases A-Z list.

This would also be very useful to filter for Open Access resources.

Have you considered use of the category tree? I understand completely if the submission is only for Subject headings, as would be found in the Subject facet in main Primo, but perhaps you might not be aware of the option to add a category tree. We use this for a curated list of subject categories and then have a second tier for 'Key Resources', as many other commenters have described as being desirable. This makes for a different search experience to main Primo, as offering our users a list designed just for a focus area for our university with databases chosen by the expert liaison librarian supporting that areas, which helps also to not just replicate the Primo search in two different places, as each offers a distinct feature.

It would be great to have this to allow researchers the flexibility to view specific types of databases within their subject area.

This feature would be incredibly useful to all our library patrons as it would allow them to break down by resource type the key databases in their particular subject area. Researchers looking to ascertain the key bibliographic databases for literature searching in their research subject area would find this especially helpful.

Would really help to point users in the direction of the specific resources they need.

It would be useful if the types assigned to each resource (I understand there can be up to three) are displayed prominently somewhere in the description of the resource, as well as the ability to filter by subject and type.
