Auto correct typos
Primo search should have the ability to auto correct common spelling errors and typos.
A current review of our zero result searches has shown that many zero result searches are typos and misspellings.
Users are used to systems that can auto-correct or suggest corrections for misspelled words.
Auto correct of typos would greatly improve the user experience.

There is 'Did you mean ...?' https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Primo/Product_Documentation/020Primo_VE/Primo_VE_(English)/160Linguistic_Features_for_Primo_VE#Did_You_Mean, which covers the trcks example, but only if less than 15 results are found:
German, Italian: tracks?
https://basel.swisscovery.org/discovery/search?query=any,contains,trcks&tab=UBS&search_scope=UBS&vid=41SLSP_UBS:live&lang=de&offset=0English, French: trucks?
https://basel.swisscovery.org/discovery/search?query=any,contains,trcks&tab=UBS&search_scope=UBS&vid=41SLSP_UBS:live&lang=en&offset=0
this, but as far as a short test shows it only is visible when there are zero hits, and not when I searched for more than one word

I agree. This is why I don't want to activate stemming.

I support this idea. In addition to automatically correcting common spelling errors and typos Primo should enable the user to switch back to their original search terms if those were the terms they intended to use. Exactly the same as Google uses:
Searched for: trcks
Showing results for trucks
Search instead for trcksThis gives the user the ability to back out of auto corrections they didn't want to happen
