one-click-unsubscribe link for saved searches emails
saved search emails that are send on regular basis should include a link to quickly unsubscribe from the alert.
It is a common and userfriendly practice to include unsubscribe links in newsletters so they wont need to login to their account to change this. Email alerts may be annoying to the patrons in case of shifting interests unsubscribe/subscribe easily will uplift the usage of this particular service.
Thank you for this suggestion. This was released in Primo in May release and planned for Primo VE in the second half of 2019

Good idea and very useful enhancement. I would like to add another aspect: Saved searches should expire automatically after a certain time period (e. g. 6 months, configurable via Back Office). Users should receive an email 4 weeks before the expiration date. This email should include a link to expand the life cycle of a saved search by another period (e. g. next 6 months). If the link is not activated by the user, the saved search has to be deleted from system automatically or manually be a Primo back office administrator.
This enhancement would allow us to be EU-GDPR compliant and to support principles of data minimisation and privacy by design. The amount of personal data which is stored in Primo is being reduced to the absolute minimum. This is a basic principle of regulations like EU-GPDR we have to follow.
This is a function that already exists in other systems (e. g. EBSCO host) and widely accepted by users.

Good idea. Maybe two links: one to unsubscribe from the current alert and another to the My Favorites > Saved Searches to manage all alerts.
