Add live links from books etc. on Primo to the Leganto lists they feature on
When we look at items within Primo that are featured on Leganto reading lists we are given the module information for them i.e. which modules, and therefore lists, they are linked to. For example: https://librarysearch.rgu.ac.uk/discovery/fulldisplay?docid=alma991000824659704636&context=L&vid=44RGU_INST:VU1&search_scope=EBOOKS&tab=Everything&lang=en.
While this is very useful it would be great if these were links to the actual lists on Leganto.
Please let me know if this idea should be on the Leganto exchange rather than this one.

Show My Account and Sign In without extra click and Show logged in user's name under Sign Out
Hello,
The California State University (CSU) system has developed custom angular js to Show My Account and Sign In without extra click and Show logged in user's name under Sign Out as the OTB functionality for the new Primo UI, forcing one to hover over the "Guest" label seems inadequate from a usability perspective.
We would like to know if ExLibris can build-in this angular js functionality into the main source code for the new Primo UI, so the current, inadequate OTB functionality for signing into My Account can be addressed.
Here is the angular js code for the CSU:

Update default Chicago/Turabian citation style in Primo to current 17th ed.
Chicago/Turabian citation style 17th ed. was released in 2017, but only the 16th ed. is available as a citation style. This is one of the most common citation styles in use, and Primo should offer the current version as a default option.

A way to debug iFrame in Primo VE
There is a way in "regular" Primo NUI to debug and troubleshoot Primo. For example, it was an easy way to see openURL that is passed to the vendor by right clicking and choosing view iFrame.
Unfortunatley there is no way to do this in VE. This is a loss of a troubleshooting tool that is quite important.
See attached.
I would like to see a way to do something similar in VE.
Thank you!

Ability to load citation styles written in Citation Style Language
Three of the most popular reference managers (Zotero, Mendeley, Papers) accept new citation styles written in Citation Style Language (http://citationstyles.org/developers/) without needing developer intervention to add them. If Primo's action let each library customize which citation styles they would prefer that would be a huge boost to both Primo's functionality and open standards.

Session timeout 'Keep me alive' customization
Right now, Primo is only set to have a 30 minute window before the 'Keep Me Alive' timeout feature appears.
As someone who uses this button frequently, it would be nice if we could customize the amount of time Primo allows before this 'Keep me Alive' button appears (ie 60 min. 6 hours, 12 hours, etc.) in the BO somehow.

Searching in Collection Discovery (New UI)
Searching within a collection (or across collections) would be extremely beneficial to the user experience.
This is especially true for digital collections that hold a large number of items, or have significant descriptive metadata in the item record.

Inclusion of New UI Top Banner links in Primo Analytics Action Usage Report
We would like the links on the Links Menu that appear in the banner at the top of the screen in the new UI to be harvested into Primo Analytics and to be included in the Primo Action Usage Report. Ideally we would like usage information to be harvested for both links created by ExLibris (such as Tags, Browse etc) and also links that we have added to the menu (for example a link to our LibGuide).
Obtaining usage information for these links will not only be very useful in determining which links we include in the top banner but…

Add more citation styles to Primo VE
Currently Primo offers the Chicago/Turabian style that is the student version of The Chicago Manual of Style. Please see the difference here: http://cmosshoptalk.com/2015/02/03/for-students-is-turabian-style-the-same-as-chicago-style/
We propose to add The Chicago Manual of Style as a citation style.1 votePrimo now supports Citation Style Language (CSL).

Central Office institution in My Profile for Primo Central: free for delivery collections should be handled by Central Office Institution
We've created a Central Office institution in My Profile for Primo Central as described in the Knowledge Center
https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Primo_Central/Product_Documentation/PC_Index_Configuration_Guide/020Primo_Central_Index_Registration/030Consortium_Activation_in_Primo_CentralThis works fine for resources which aren't free for delivery. Collections that are free for delivery have to be activated for each institution within the consortium separately. This means hard and time consuming work if you are supporting several institutions within a consortium like we do.
From our point of view there is no reason why the collections that are free for delivery are handled differently. Main criteria to activate a collection is the quality of metadata in Primo Central. There…

Primo Central FRBR process specific to each customer's activations
Currently, Primo Central performs the FRBR process on its entire index without considering the collections activated at the customer's level. Having FRBR at the level of the whole PC leads to often have in the catalogue a 'View all versions', even if in the PC of the Institution there is just 1 version of a record. Another consequence is also that Primo Central facets display unrelated results. In some cases, other records (from the FRBR group) may not appear, which does apply to the facet limitation, because they haven't been activated in the PC registration system. This situation often leads…

Allow Main Menu Links to be Configurable on Primo Services Page in New UI
We would like to be able to configure Main Menu Links on the Primo Services Page.
When a patron lands on the services page, they should have the same Main Menu options as any other Primo page: New Search, Browse Search, EJournals, Citation Linker, etc.
Unfortunately, these "Main Menu links in the New UI Services page were suppressed by design."
Thanks,

Turn Off/On Link to Tags and Browse Search in Main Menu Via Back Office
Have the ability to add or delete Tag and Browse tabs in Primo Main Menu in the back office Views Wizard, like all other menu tabs in Primo. Currently, these two recently added tabs can only be hidden or moved via CSS edits and are enabled by default without a delivered method for changing the tab or removing it all-together. All tabs should be manageable via the same Back Office method.

No way back to original/seed article when using either the new Citations or Cited By buttons
The pages a user reaches when clicking either the new "Citations" or "Cited By" buttons do not provide any way for user to get back to the original/seed article. Making users rely on the browser's back button is not user-friendly.

Remove "Add to e Shelf" from copied text
Users often copy and paste titles of works from Primo brief search results, to use in other searches or documents. The user selects the hyperlinked title text and copies. When it is pasted, the phrase "Add to e Shelf" is added in front of the title, even though it doesn't appear in the brief search results. This is very confusing to patrons, who frequently don't notice this sneaky addition to their copied text and wonder why their new search is "not found". We would love to see this phrase removed from the copied text.
