My Library Card: Digital LOANS
It would really be helpful to have a tab or include borrowed digital books under patron loans so that its easy for them to renew or see what digital books they borrowed and need to return. Currently there is no ability for a patron to see what digital books they may have borrowed and need to return.

Primo VE - "related titles sorted alphabetically by title"
The Articles such as "der, die das" should be ignored for the sort." - Currently it is not possible to configure the sort of the related titles.
Example:

Contains : "Aphorismen zur Lebensweisheit" Contains : 8 1/2 = (otto e mezzo) Contains : Abschied von Sansibar : Roman Contains : Abwässer : ein Gutachten
[...]
Contains : Balzac : Leben und Werk : Zeugnisse und Aufsätze von Victor Hugo bis Georges Simenon
[...]
Contains : Carl Gustav Jung : Leben, Werk, Wirkung

Remove the total number of results
It would be useful if the total number of results are hidden by default from the search results page, but patrons have the option in their user account settings to enable the total number of results.

Ability to create URL redirects for deleted collections
Alma offers institutions the ability to create collections to facilitate discovery and access to groups of related resources. In addition to being displayed on the Collections Lobby page, collections can be made accessible via direct links on websites, research guides, or course syllabi. However, when a collection is deleted, any links or bookmarks to that collection are broken. To avoid this, customers should have the ability to configure redirects for collection page URLs that can be used to route visitors to another page.

Add "read more" button to allow for collapsing of long collection descriptions in collection discovery
Many of our contributors use the collection description field to provide detailed information about the materials within, some are over 5-6,000 characters. Descriptions this long force the banner image to become stretched and visibly unappealing; it also pushes the records down to where the user needs to scroll to see them. It would be great if there were a collapsable carrot or "..." or "Read More" button at the end of some predetermind amount of characters to shorten descriptions by default, but also allow users to read the entire piece of text if so desired.

Make DOIs active links in full record display
It would help users connect to content if the DOI in the Identifier field were an active link. This could either be through adding "https://doi.org/" in front of the DOI to display a complete URL, or by simply adding that to build active links behind the scenes. For example, use https://doi.org/10.48331/scielo.LS5RKD rather than DOI: 10.48331/scielo.LS5RKD
This would be especially helpful for open access content in the CDI that is often displayed to users without any links to follow. Copying and pasting the DOI by itself into a browser search produces inconsistent results that often fail to go to…

Field labels in Brief Record Displays
It would help the user to make sense of what they are reading in the Brief Record Display if we could include labels for some of the fields -- particularly for "Subject" and "Is part of".

Indent newspaper search under Source Type limiters
Indent the "Newspapers search" link under the "Source Type" limiter to bring it in line with the other listed source types (e.g. Articles, Reivews, Books, etc.).
As it currently displays, without being indented, it appears that all of the source types listed below are sub-sets of the Newspapers search.

To have a “Saved Query” feature at the top of the search results at Journal Search page
Currently, only the general search has this "Saved Query" feature in the search result. We would like to have this feature when searching at Journal Search page too.

Contextual Relationships - chapters
- Only display chapters for the volume being viewed, i.e. chapters from vol. 2 of the Cambridge Ancient History rather than chapters from all the volumes (230 in all!)
- Display chapters in page number order ( we can’t figure out the logic behind the current order of display)
- For multi-volume titles, a “other volumes in this title” link in addition to other chapters from the same volume

Add spacing between multiple entries of same marc field
Often, and especially in archival description, we use the same marc fields several times in the same record. So, more than 1 520 (description/scope&content) or more than 1 545 (bio/hist note) and many others.
The current display in primo ve kinda "smooshes" them all together. Would be great for readability if there was at least a space between multiple entries of the same field in any given record. Attachment has example in primo ve and one in - believe it or not - digitool, where there are extra spaces between each of the repeated fields. Much easier to read.

Search Loans within user Account
We have users who would like to be able to search within their list of currently checked out items. At present, the only options are (1) export the list of loans to BibTeX or RIS and search them in another program, or (2) sort by checkout date or title. When faculty have 400 items checked out, neither of these options is feasible. They would like a search box option within their account to search across all the items they have checked out.

My Library Card: Indicate number of loans at each library
Listed in the left margin of the My Library Card page in our multi-campus / multi-library environment are the names of each library from which a user has requested or borrowed an item. To save the user time in finding relevant, timely information, we'd like the number of items currently "in play" (on loan, requested, with associated fines, etc.) displayed next to each library in that list.

Incorrect citation formatting
Below is an email that I got from one of our reference librarians:
Here’s a citation issue, we’re coping with.
I expect you can’t fix this because it looks like a broad indexing issue, but can it be reported?PROBLEM ONE (this affects MLA & APA & Chicago)
The Primo citations often include extra information, for example:
-- that it is a “report” or includes an “author abstract” or “Brief Article”
In these cases, it looks like it stems from Primo including too much info in the title field.PROBLEM TWO (this affects only MLA)
Primo citations often include not…2 votes -

time to reshelve
When "time to reshelve" hours are set in Alma, the reshelving status only displays in the "Get It" section of the full record display. It also needs to display in the brief record display. A patron who only sees the record in the list after a search won't know that the item isn't physically on the shelf unless they click on the full display and scroll down to Get It. Currently, if the "time to reshelve" setting has a value in it, an item will display with the status of "Available" in the brief record display in both the in…

Separate Reviews from Book Chapters in Related Records Display
If you turn on the Related Records functionality in Primo VE, you get Chapters and Reviews. There's no way to select only that only chapters or only reviews display. It's both or nothing.
See the top section of this record for an example record with both book chapters and reviews: https://wrlc-gwalaw.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/permalink/01WRLC_GWALAW/1mru39c/cdi_proquest_ebookcentral_EBC4980447

Users should be able to choose the length of the result page between 10 and 100 results per page
Users should be able to choose the length of the result page between 10 and 100 results per page according to predefined steps.
The option to do so should be available for unsigned users and should be persisted if a user is signed in.2 votes -
Allow boosting IZ records when displaying FRBR groups
As a member of a consortium, we would like to see our local records displayed first while looking at FRBR groups.
The current sorting and prioritization methods do not help with achieving this.

Have Location Facet appear ONLY AFTER a Library facet is selected
For large library systems, many locations of stacks, eg. exist making the location facet appear very confusing to users. The LibraryLocation facet is problematic because many library locations are beyond the limit of 20 that's possible to view.
