do not show Library Scope when an institution only has one library
The new Library Scope facet for Physical holdings and Physical items search is only useful if an institution has multiple libraries. It should be possible to disable this facet if an institution only has one library.

add an attachment icon picture besides the item of the attachment.
In Primo, readers often can not distinguish the difference of the book and the attachment of the book(ex: CD-ROM). So readers often request the barcode number of the attachment of the book first wrongly, and then find that they really want to request the book instead of the attachment of book(CD-ROM). I suggest the system can show an attachment icon picture(Ex: paper clip) besides the item of the attachment. It can help readers to distinguish the types of the items(book or CD-ROM attachment) quickly and correctly.

Toggle Provenance Codes for Display
I'd like to propose an enhancement that allows provenance codes to be disabled/hidden instead of exclusively being deleted when they are no longer needed.
Currently, provenance codes can't be "hidden" from selection if they are no longer needed. Once a provenance code is not used, it can only be deleted and then any items with that code previously assigned are left with a single character from the code and "not listed".
We use provenance codes to note grant-funded resources, but once the grant is used up, we'd like to remove the provenance code option so it doesn't clutter up the…

Ability to combine two or more existing items into a kit without losing POL information
If there's a way to do this, I can't find it.
What I would like to have is to take existing/previously received items (presumably with their own barcodes) and then combine them under one barcode as a kit. In theory, you can use "Bond Items" to do this, but the problem is that you effectively lose your POL receiving info (as well as all other individual item info) from the combined items. Allow sorting by local call number (09X) MARC fields in Physical Titles and Physical Items searches
We use the 090 and 099 for local call numbers, but Alma doesn't include 09X fields in its search indexes by default; as a result, they're not included in call number sorting in Alma or Primo, and we lack the ability to add them even after we enable them as search indexes. Adding these as options to call number sorting would enable fuller searches by staff and users respectively.

Add printable shelf list functionality to MDE 'Browse Shelf Listing'
There is a need for a convenient Shelf List tool for libraries to conduct inventory / shelf reading projects for physical items. A logical place for this would be the Browse Shelf Listing function of the Metadata Editor. What's needed is the ability to enter a range of beginning and end call numbers, and make the result set printable from that screen.

Customize the amount of holdings displayed in the brief results
Currently, only 5 holdings are displayed in the "Physical" tab in the brief results list in Alma. For IZs with many libraries, this is not always ideal and many clicks are necessary before getting to the complete list of holdings.
The new sortlibraryby_relevance parameter helps but doesn't solve all issues.
Therefore, we'd like to ask to implement a functionality similar to what can be done for the amount of records to be displayed in the results list (at the moment, one can choose between 10/20/50) so that for example staff users can choose whether they want to see…185 votes -
Relocate "Change temporary location information" in the "Change physical items" job
We run "Change physical items" job every day. At present, the"Change temporary location information" section is in the middle of the task parameters page. We would like to move it to the end of the page because we usually do not change item's temporary location but have to scroll down to reach other parameters in need to change.

Prevent duplicate storage location IDs
When you duplicate a physical item, the copy ID and inventory number and barcode are treated as unique and therefore not duplicated. We would like a configuration setting to treat the storage location ID as unique as well. Staff often duplicate existing items when adding new items since many of the fields are the same, but they sometimes forget to delete the storage ID when duplicating. Our storage management uses unique IDs like a barcode and these duplicates cause problems.

Resource Search Brief record's displayed fields
When performing Resource Search for external resources, the edition statement or series name is not displayed.
However, Alma does show these when searching for records internally by adjusting "Manage column display", which makes it easy to know what record we are dealing with.
If a record is known to have an edition statement or series statement, it should be displayed in external resource search as to make it easy to identify the records without having to open them one by one to check such information.2 votesHello All,

Link to list of holdings from the results list of titles
The Holdings button in the row actions menu takes a user to the MARC record view of the holdings record if there is only one holding but you go to the list of holdings page if there is more than one holdings on a bib.
Clicking on the Items button in the row action menu always takes the user to the list of items page no matter how many items there are.

Allow course terms to be removed with Course Bulk Update job
The Course Bulk Update job can be used to update the term list associated with a course. The current behavior of the job is to add terms selected in the job to the term list in the course. There is no option to remove terms from the term list or replace existing terms in the term list with another term using the job.
Please add an option to remove or replace terms using the Course Bulk Update job.

Temporary item policy and temporary location should be separate settings
When items have a temporary item policy, they often stay within their permanent location. However, in order to add a temporary item policy we have to select "Item is in a temporary location" = yes. Doing this when the item remains in its permanent location causes confusion, both when viewing items in the item display of Alma repository as well as when viewing items in Primo VE, when only some items on a record have a temporary item policy. It looks like it is in a temporary location, when it is not.

Overhaul Print Periodical Receiving.
We’re receiving fewer print periodicals than ever and yet the process for receiving and claiming print periodicals is more cumbersome and time-consuming than ever. Alma automatically generates a number of expected issues based on frequency with expected receipt dates even though this doesn’t reflect the reality of print periodical receiving where the receipt date may vary and issues are sometimes combined, which requires extra adjustments. If a subscription stops for some reason after expected issues have already been generated it’s necessary to remove the expected issues. Or, in the case of a publication delay, the dates for all expected issues…
