Track actions on items in transit
Currently, when an item goes into transit, it only registers the scan into transit and the scan out of transit. However, sometimes, an item gets scanned at an intermediate location for a variety of reasons and this scan is not logged in the item history. This makes tracking items in transit more difficult and nearly impossible to find if they get held up at the intermediate location.

Ability to save a note on a patron's record to finish writing later without posting an incomplete note..
Currently when adding a note to a patron's account, if you are interrupted and need to move to a different screen (eg you need to serve another patron) you either have to post the note as it is or lose it, there is no option to save without posting for you to complete it later.

Provide ability to create templates for reserve materials
- Our Fulfillment staff are unable to use locally created templates to create records for materials on course reserve. We do not want to give them cataloger roles.
- They have the following options-- print book, e-book, print article, e-article. This is limiting and we place other types of resources on reserve, including streaming audio and video.

Provide a notice/warning on Scan In when a home delivery is blocked
When an item requested for home delivery is scanned in and the patron is blocked, e.g. due to excessive fines, Alma silently places the item on the Hold Shelf. There is no notice to the staff user that the item was requested for home delivery and that a fulfillment process was just interrupted.
We use home delivery exclusively for remote students that often will not be able to come in and pick up their items, so placing the item on the hold shelf will not help them.

Work order email notification option
We use work orders to request items from our other branches to be loaned out via interlibrary loan.
When the branch is unable to find the book, they click Mark as Missing on their Pick from Shelf list.
Unfortunately, this simply deletes the work order and doesn't notify us that the work order was deleted. We have to go into our Monitor Requests queue and actually scroll through all the completed requests to find the ones that were marked as missing.

In Calendar Management, allow the removal of old exception dates without changing upcoming due dates
Currently, in the Alma Calendar Management configuration page, if an exception (closed) date from the past is removed then loans with upcoming due dates can be affected when the Due Date Correction after Calendar Change job runs.
It would be helpful if there was a way to remove old exception dates without upcoming due dates changing. Otherwise, exception dates can never be removed.

Have the ability to sort by: Storage location ID when scanning a tray of Items.
When processing books we put new barcodes in an item record in the storage location id input box so we can locate them within our facility and preserve the original barcode. When we are done processing a tray of items we verify all the items are in the tray by placing the tray barcode followed by an asterisk (ex. 00000000*) in the search bar. Alma then pulls all the records that are linked to the tray.

Communicate patron cost avoidance resulting from library circulation services.
Add the availability of information in the FulLoanReceiptLetter.xsl Alma letter to include the value of the current loan (i.e. item list price) and also the sum value of the history of loans to date, for the patron. This would allow the letter to be customized to tell the user the amount of cost avoidance achieved by using library services to gain access to circulated items. Relocate cursor to barcode scan field in "Scan In Items" after checkbox selection
Circulation staff report problems when scanning in a large number of items:
- If a user clicks a checkbox or radio button in the scan in items interface, Alma does not direct the cursor to the barcode field.
- If the user then scans an item without clicking into the barcode field first, Alma delivers an error because the carriage return at the end of the scan submits the form, but no barcode was registered.
- If this error is not noticed by a staff member who has a lapse of attention, they could continue scanning and miss multiple items in a row…

Title-level request and item-level request
Currently it is only possible to configure either item-level-requests OR title-level requests in Alma for Primo . We request the possibility to configure title-level-requests in the terms of use when specific parameters are met, for example when all items are located in a certain location.

Alma Fulfillment manages requests as title level, which is the easiest requesting option for the patrons. The request form allows to specify specific required terms of use or material types. If there are specific items that should be requestable on the item level, Alma expects their unique attribute to be described in the Description field. That will make them requestable at the item level.

Add Primary Identifier or Item Barcode to patron-delivered letters
Patrons receive many letters from us (summaries of their loans, fines, check out, check in, etc.) When someone wants me to do something about their account, they just write me back saying "fix this". So, I need to look up their account. But unfortunately, it can be difficult to figure out who the patron is. Either there are multiple people with the name listed or someone has their name changed in a way that isn't reflected in the letter.

It would be ideal for the previous user list to include patrons whose accounts have been opened by scanning their barcode, not just those whose have been opened by typing in their name. The current functionality makes it non-useful for our staff

Request for Improved linking to courses associated with a title from the ‘All Titles’ citation list
As Library staff I want to be able to link to an associated Course code without the multiple clicking that is currently required.
What is required:
We are requesting that the result of an All titles search immediately displays with a “Courses” hyperlink for each title that would result in the courses list displaying on the next page.

Allow Multiple Rollovers for Reserves Courses
We attempted to implement course rollover at our institution but ran into an issue that means it did not fit how our university operates. We don’t get all courses in our course feed on a single date for a given semester, and we need to start loading the next semester’s courses before all of them appear on in our feed. Proxy and sponsor display and sorting
It would be helpful to be able to sort the sponsors for a proxy alphabetically in the "Proxy for" tab of the User Details page. Currently they only display in the order in which they were added. Some proxies work for multiple sponsors so being able to sort them and even search would be helpful. It would also be nice if the drop down window used during checkout could display alphabetically as well.

Transit Times between libraries to reflect deliveries.
Currently in Alma transit time is an average time with a relevant disclaimer, however we need to create a transit time between two libraries where delivery of books to/from the libraries happens once a week, this tansit time will reflect exact and changing deliveries.

Allow library configuration to block Temporary or Permanent Move requests
University of Wisconsin Madison has a ‘Withdrawn’ library, where items are moved and suppressed, because they are deaccessioned (e.g, extra copies that are no longer needed) or lost and missing materials. We use this method for in-depth reporting for capital depreciation and other accounting measures. As these items technically don't physically exist, we would like to be able to block Temporary or Permanent Move requests (to Change the items location) on the ‘Withdrawn’ library.
