The final destination of the exported files should be the user's local PC, or Alma should provide the direct download link on Alma. The latter way is already available for some jobs, such as, Export Bibliographic Records, Export Digital Titles etc. (After the job is done the user can access the 'Link to Exported records' on Job Report.) By any means, it is highly desired to download all files of a set with one-click, on Alma interface, without any help of third-party programs.

It would be better if the watermark can optionally be applied to the printed images too. I guess it will prevent users from re-scanning the printed contents or re-distribute the saved PDF file obtained by using Print to PDF option.

I also suggest a function that enabling users to choose a different watermark display type for display and printing.

    e.g.)

    For print:

    For display:

I'm adding an example for this idea. Please develop better methods.

    (As Is)

    1) Create a Set of:
    Title a in A Collection
    Title b in A Collection
    Title c in A Collection

    2) Run Add Titles to Collection job: to B Collection
(Check or uncheck Unassign from existing collection(s))

    3) The result:
    Title a in B Collection
    Title b in B Collection
    Title c in B Collection

(To be - just an example)

    1) Create a Set of:
    Title a in A Collection
    Title b in B Collection
    Title c in C Collection

    2) Run a job which allows the user set the ‘As Is – To be’ Collection pair for the each of titles. (I don't have any good idea on how to set it... maybe uploading an excel file?)

Title a in A Collection to D Collection
Title b in B Collection to E Collection
Title c in C Collection to F Collection
(Check or uncheck Unassign from existing collection(s))

    3) The result:
    Title a in D Collection
    Title b in E Collection
    Title c in F Collection

We have begun to investigate this more in depth and thank you very much for your three suggestions of how this can be implemented. In order to decide how best to implement this it would be useful to first know what “business needs” you are trying to address. What types of reports are you looking to create? What information do you need to get and what types of reports do you want?. Note that today the bibliographic details folder already has the collection ID and collection name.

I don't have any vote left so leave a comment. Availability indication should be real-time because is is the first thing most users check.

One of our APAC agents taught me how to upload a modified dc.xml file through an overlay import profile (without digital files). I cannot delete this idea so am leaving it as it is.

We can create a repository type import profile to update/remove fields of a set of MARC records or POLs but cannot for DC records. It would be great if we can match and update dublin core bibs by importing an xlsx or xml file.

A parameter for IEDs or any publishing information IDs of all types of records (not only titles but P/E/D collections) will be great.
