I forgot: A third new option that would help would be limiting a profile to users with or without a certain block (type).

You could use an Analytics Report as a widget that reacts to a certain trigger word in the note field, or that points out certain actions on certain user accounts. We use that method to monitor returns and/or payments by blocked accounts. The data is unfortunately always one day late, but it does the job.

You could probably support this - arguably strangely worded - request, that has already got more attention: https://ideas.exlibrisgroup.com/forums/308173-alma/suggestions/39567799-fines-and-fees-report-excel-output-is-dumb

    Good afternoon,

our reasons are different, but the wish is the same.

Currently we have set all overdue letters and fee notifications either to e-mail or to to BOTH print and e-mail - just to have the option to store them in the users accounts.

Fo, we HAVE to be able to reproduce i.e. fees/fines notifications when the dunning department is forced to consider legal actions against patrons who did not return borrowed items or paid their fees after being reminded repeatedly.

Receiving the same letter twice may cause unnecessary confusion.

This "idea" is old, but I hope it will get some notice.

    Kind regards

    Eva-Maria Horita, FHB Aachen
