While I had hoped to prioritize this enhancement, it hasn’t gained the traction we typically look for to move forward. As a result, it’s unlikely to be implemented in the foreseeable future. That said, your feedback remains valuable, and I’ll continue to keep it in mind as our roadmap evolves.

This feature is a must in order to make self booking usable. Current booking module is not usable by end users. For us, it would be ideal to not give an option to shorten the booking but automatically set it to match Terms of use of the item.

Just expanding on the idea of subset of users having special permission. I would like to see another field in user information which can indicate users with special permission and set Terms of use according to the special permission. And a way to batch update this field would be highly desirable.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I would like the ability to restrict booking of equipment to subset of User Groups. We have items only available to students specific classes so more granular control beyond User Groups would be helpful.
