An error occurred while saving the comment Jörg Sachse commentedADDENDUM:
In Linux, you can also use inotify to trigger actions based on certain events that happen in the filesystem. An error occurred while saving the comment Jörg Sachse commentedUnless I'm missing anything, you can use the exportIE() WebService, which returns an exportIEResponse. This Response is of the type exportEntityInfo, which contains the fullExportPath and a processExecutionId. This ID can be used to query the getProcessExecutionStatus() and get a getProcessExecutionStatusResponse of the type processExecutionStatusInfo, which contains all the information that you would need.
As far as I can see, this would solve your use case for automated workflows, where external jobs would pull IEs for further processing. These external jobs could query Rosetta for the status of the export before triggering further actions.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jörg Sachse commented@Stuart: Thanks, I think that's a great idea, especially considering how weak of a file type indicator file extensions actually are.
An error occurred while saving the comment Jörg Sachse commentedOh, and if the IdeaExchange software would support tab indentation, that would be really helpful. Thx!

An error occurred while saving the comment Jörg Sachse commentedHi Yvonne,
afaik, multi-tab usage of Rosetta is not supported. I usually work around that by using different browsers (e.g. Firefox & Opera). This has been an issue for a long time and I'd love to see Rosetta being enhanced to support multiple tabs.
Also, I second the idea for a read-only Administration user role.
Best regards,

As RedHat comes with Podman, we'd prefer that due to the fact that Podman runs daemonless and with normal user privileges instead of root. Basically, OCI-compatibility is the deciding factor here.
But apart from that, clearly +1!
