I would support this only if it does not degrade the load time. Some articles are rather large and I suppose could drag load time down significantly. Being an online service, this is an issue that needs more care than an offline application.

This would save time and much effort on the part of researchers as they commence their collection study and then have to "find" the article after processing its citation.

RefWorks' button is quite good at finding PDFs and adding them to references, so our users would expect the direct export funtion on publishers' platforms to be able to do this as well. http://www.sekillinick.space

EndNote does support reference output with fulltext. This would make it also easy to use for the qualitative research program ATLAS.ti !
