Westlaw UK (Thomson Reuters) - adding new indexing metadata
Westlaw UK is currently a 0 titles database in the Client Centre (Code AYDUG).
Can the metadata be acquired from the provider and added to the index?

"Automatic holdings management" process for database "eBooks on EBSCOhost" (CZZ)
We buy single title e-books from ebsco regularly and have to activate the titles manually in the Client Center (database "eBooks on EBSCOhost"). It would make things much easier if there is a "automatic holdings management" process for this database.

Add more journal platforms (American College of Physicians) to Resource Link Prioritization List in Summon
This could go with other journal titles as well. Our institution subscribed to 2 titles through American College of Physicians with pretty extensive holdings. The titles can also be found via our subscription to ProQuest, but with more limited holdings. When users search for a title in Summon, they will only see the ProQuest holdings and then be told we do not carry the resource. I think adding more individual platforms to Resource Link Prioritization list will fix this. Thanks!

add subject and abstracts columns in the upload template
we have some library specific databases for information not available yet (no agreements with the publisher etc.). The titles in these databases have no subject or abstract information. It would be great when this information could be added. (add subject and abstracts columns in the upload template)

Increase limit on collected search strings in OBI usage statistics
OBI usage statistics keep track of the 200 - 500 search strings per month performed by users. These are available in the Summon Popular Searches report available in OBI.
It would be useful to have access to a more complete list of search strings each month though, in order to perform analysis such as subjects of interest to users or search trends over time.
This enhancement request proposes to increase the amount of search strings recorded. A preferred options would be to allow institutions to set how many search strings would be recorded per month (ie. ranging from none to…

Opt out of Catalog Match-and-Merge but Keep Full-Text Augmentation
One of the most valuable features of Summon is the full-text indexing augmentation of physical collection catalog records. The feature allows discovery of many items that wouldn't be found otherwise.
Unfortunately, if a site opts out of catalog match-and-merge, it loses full-text indexing of its physical collection. I propose separating the configuration of the two features so that a site could opt out of merging its metadata with metadata from other sources but still take advantage of the full-text augmentation.

Allow publishers ability to search their content in Summon
Publishers whose content is uploaded into Summon should be able to view how these records look from a librarian's perspective. Can a publisher receive some sort of admin account for this? This would make answering our accounts' questions about our records much simpler.

Make View Changes in Client Center Exportable
We'd really appreciate if the View Changes in Client Center had an exportable format, such as Excel.

I wanted to ask whether the possibility of being able to modify proximity search searching has been considered?
We had proximity search settings set in EDS so that words entered in the keyword box had to be within 3 or 4 words of each other, (if I'm remembering correctly). That seemed to be a good happy medium for our users so that phrase searching wasn't needed. It's an adjustment for those used to EDS of now needing to put phrases in quotes, capitalize boolean operators, and this really broad threshold for proximity searching when using Summon.

Allow A-Z order for Best Bets admin display
When you have a long list of Best Bets and they don't automatically get ordered alphabetically, the admin work becomes quite unpleasant when editing/removing entries etc.

Customize Content Type facet to display content from specific publications
We received the following request from a teaching librarian today:
Is it possible for all of the articles in the publication Government Finance Review to show up under the Trade Publications limiter in Summon?
It seems like it would be a good feature to make this customizable at the institution level.

Apply the same tag to multiple Best Bets
We enter our databases as Best Bets and add tags for their title and title variations. There are a few instances where we have multiple collections with similar title variations, such as Joanna Briggs Institute. It would be a great improvement if we could add the same tag to multiple Best Bets and have all of them display when that tag is searched; this would also be more consistent with how our database entries in our 'classic catalogue' can be searched.

Make it easier to add hyperlinks to custom panels
At present, URLs can only be added to custom panels with HTML. It would be good to have the option of using the rich text editor (or, failing that, adding a URL below the panel's main text, as is possible with Best Bets)

DB recommender - tags export feature
We would like to be able to export the list of databases and the tags used for the recommender.
Furthermore, it would be nice if we can import the completed list.15 votes -

DB recommender - html formatting
We would like to be able to apply HTML formatting in the "database's description" field.
For the moment, it doesn't recognise the tags unlike the public database note field.
Furthermore, we would like to see the "public database note" displayed in the Database recommender.7 votes
