Additional copyright rule parameters
Currently we can create a copyright rule with a parameter "Publisher" so we could automatically block or approve copyright clearance requests based on the publisher.
The copyright licensing body in New Zealand provides a list of titles excluded from the licensing scheme. Some of these are defined by publisher, but others are defined by title specifically, by ISBN, or by author. It would be useful for us to create rules based on title, ISBN, or author to block our other copyright rules from automatically clearing copyright in these cases.

Course create dates from CMS Moodle- Leganto Chat
When an instructor creates a new course from Moodle, the start and end date of the course is the same and it coincides with the course creation date.
We would like the instructor, when creating a new course from Moodle, to be able to choose the start and end date of the course

implement SSO via Microsoft Azure for Leganto so that our Brightspace users do not have to logon via ezproxy when on an off-campus PC.
Our Brightspace users have already logged on via our university portal which uses Microsoft Azure SSO. From within Brightspace, they access the Leganto reading list where they click on Primo links to our subscribed resources. We use OCLC-hosted ezproxy to authenticate users when they click a link from the library website but when users have already authenticated into Primo or Brightspace via Azure, there is no need for them to be prompted a second time via ezproxy. This is a major inconvenience for our online-only courses where students all always coming from an off-campus PC but have already authenticated via…

If reading list can be restored, do not purge citations when deleting a course
If you have configured the setting deletereadinglist to logical, then deleted reading lists can be restored.
However, if you delete a course that has a reading list attached, and then wish to restore the deleted reading list, the citations on the list have been purged.
If you have set a deleted reading list to be able to be restored, it does not make sense to purge the citations on the list. We would like citations to also be able to be restored when the deletereadinglist setting is logical.

Search field to look up lists to copy sections to
When copying a section, one can choose which reading list the section will be copied to. This solution makes difficult for staff enrolled on a large number of lists, as the correct list to move the section to can then fall off the drop down menu. Instead of a dropdown menu we would like a search field so that staff can look up the list instead, the same way one can look up courses when associating a list to a course.

Editor button integration: show requirement to choose bibliography style
When selecting a citation using the editor button, the Add button does not work until a bibliography style is selected from the drop-down menu. For the new user, this can be confusing. It needs a visual indicator of some kind, such as prompt text in the box or an error message. Ideally, there would be default as there is for the link text, and it would be "sticky" -- remembering the user's last selection.

Make the template wizard accessible
Make the template wizard in the new UI accessible at any point during the creation of the list, not just at the initial setup stage. This would mean that if the list creator removed everything from their list to start again, or wanted to have merged templates (ie a week by week and a bibliography) they wouldn't have to create every section individually from that point.

Usability of Favorites especially in LTI view - Suggest from right panel
Using the LTI view the left menu (Lists and Favorites) is invisible which confines the view to the context of the LMS site the user is in. I can see why we would want to do that. However, it has the effect of making it virtually impossible for educator or student to be able to use their favorites.
Scenario: Educator adds a citation to their list in the LTI view, then decides it is so good they want to add it to their other lists. They copy it to their favorites.... then what! (They could just copy to other lists,…

File Upload box on Quick Start - New UI
Our instructors access from the LMS, and upon Quick Start, we only allow the options to Create from scratch or Upload a file (not to rollover). A large proportion of our instructors avail themselves of the Upload a file option.
We think the Upload a file or "Ask your library to create your list" option is greatly minimized in the New UI as compared to Classic UI, and that it would be nice for this option to have a box with an icon and button the same way the the "Create" and "Create from Existing" options currently do. We think…

Make the 'Mark as read' symbol more prominent
We feel that students are not making best use of this feature, perhaps because it's not immediately clear that the small 'tick' icon carries this function. Could this be displayed more clearly, for example by displaying the 'Mark as read' text without having to hover over the icon.

Librarians would like to be able to feature lists in Find Lists by "Pinning" lists (or courses)
We have had an interesting suggestion from Library staff working with Departments on topical reading lists - they would like to be able to 'pin' such lists to the Find lists page to make them 'featured' in a similar way to which the default "Recommended" - Popular/New/Recently Updated' ones appear. Ideally a pinned list/s would be more prominent to users throughout the interface, but the Find lists as a landing page would make sense to promote a themed list for library services - being able to scheduled the pin would be even better, but the core concept of pinning something…

Allow placeholder text in author field
When instructors create a citation they have to enter the author manually. We want them to always enter the author as Surname, I.N. or at least Surname, Firstname - so students get used to the preferred citation format and for copyright reporting purposes - but there's nothing to remind them of this.
We'd like placeholder text to display in the author field, which would be configurable via the Labels code table.

For Question and Answers in Leganto - allow a "cancel but add" option
Some instructors are trying to add multiple items very quickly and would like to be able to search and add items and then go back through and tag them.
In the current Question and Answer workflow, there is either a 'you must provide one response' type message, or there is a cancel option, but the cancel prevents items from being added. It would be useful in some cases to allow as cancel, but add option.0 votes -
Ability to tailor the Alma citations view to support more workflows
This may be multiple ideas to be split out, but the basic idea is the same. Currently in Alma Citations, even with the useful SOLR indexing improvements to allow facets, it can still be difficult to use the Citations list as a tasklist, because there is only exclusive faceting and no date restriction. Although Analytics allows creation modification dates to come into use for filtering lists, in the Alma interface there is no easy way to only show certain dates.
It is also a heavy loading page as it can show all citations in Alma, whereas it would be useful…

Improve Courses search in Alma - Add an 'is empty' operator in the advanced search option for Course Year
The persistent search in Alma has a Courses option, and an advanced search can be constructed based on several course fields, including Course Year. As this field is not always filled in by LTI or manual course creation methods, it would be useful if the search operators on Course Year allowed staff to search for an empty field as well as the current single option of "Contains Keywords".
