  1. Ability to retrieve deleted list sections or individual citations

Ability to retrieve deleted list sections or deleted individual citations. When deleting individual list sections or individual citations from a list, could the deleted items be held in an area (e.g. "trash bin") so as to be retrievable if deleted in error. Could this functionality be available for both instructors and librarians.

  2. Add a 'Select all' option to My Collection to allow bulk export/deletion of selected items?

In the "My Collection" list of items, it would be useful if there was a bulk "Select All" option - as well as the individual checkboxes - to allow easier use of the (otherwise greyed out) "Export" and "Delete selected items" options

  3. View list citations in different referencing styles

Would it be possible to apply different bibliographic styles within the Leganto list view, as well as being able to apply these when exporting to Word format.

  4. Leganto Viewer

Uploaded documents in Leganto can only be downloaded and cannot be viewed online. Students often consult Leganto from different devices. We think it would be agreat feature if ExLibris could implement the option to view files directly via a 'Leganto/(Alma)' viewer?
And in addition it would be great if it is possible to make notes within a document in Leganto (within the body text of a file) (cf. Mendeley)? (Via the viewer?)

  5. Academic Departments - add field for Faculty/School

Academic Departments within institutions often sit under Faculty or School groups. This is currently not represented in Alma or Leganto. Could we have a new (optional) field added for School/Faculty both to the Academic Department area and have it available in Analytics.

  6. Ability to add a paragraph or line breaks in Welcome to Leganto message labels

We have a requirement for our interfaces to be bilingual, especially the initial welcome message for a service.

In Leganto we have the ability to add text for a second language into the initial English Welcome message which is good, but we are not able to add a break between English and the second language.

I hope this is easy to do! Thank you.

  7. More visible separation between course lists and My lists

When clicking on a permalink to a specific course, the lists associated to this course appear first on the page, followed by one's own list.

A thin line separate the first lists from "My lists" but this line is almost invisible and confuses a lot of users.

This line/separation should be thicker/more visible.

  8. Customise Leganto Reading lists using CSS

We would like to be able to adjust a CSS stylesheet to tweak the visual styling of the the Leganto reading lists. We have received feedback regarding the sizing of some important elements on the pages, especially the View Online link. We would like to be able to make this link more obvious to users.

  9. Notes added in Alma to default to 'Library' type (rather than 'Instructor')

Notes added in Alma are likely to be for internal use only for Library staff. It would therefore be useful for the note type to default to 'Library' rather than 'Instructor'.

  10. Cite It support for Oxford Law Trove

Oxford Law Trove (http://www.oxfordlawtrove.com/) is an essential resource for our Law department. Could this please be added to the list of Cite It supported platforms so that cases and chapters can be added easily?

  11. Identifying citations added via student suggestions

We would like to be able to identify which citations have been added to lists by instructors from suggestions made by students.

  12. Deactivate Likes together with disabling of student discussion

It is currently possible to deactivate student discussions on reading lists, but the Likes/hearts are still visible even then.

We would like it to be deactivated as well, or have the possibility to do so, when student discussion is turned off.

  13. Book covers shown with citations to be retrieved from several sources

Showing the cover of a book togheter with the citation is a feature well appreciated by both students and instructors.

According to Ex Libris, the two sources for thumbnails in Leganto are Google and Syndetics.

We would like Leganto to be able to retrieve thumbnails from several sources, as is the case with Primo today.

  14. Reading List Folders broken down from Subject faculty then into course then into year

Briefly, we would like a way to organize reading lists on the Leganto list view beyond being able to search them, for example folders that can contain reading lists.

Our Business School and Faculty of Medicine staff have told us they have too many courses to manage easily on list view, so have suggested this feature to help organise their lists better. They suggest that seeing only their current year courses on the Leganto home page list view, and their previous years lists in folders.

User story: as a medicine course convener responsible for multiple reading lists, I would like…

  15. Add "Chapter Number", "Chapter Author" and "Chapter Title" columns to citation search page on Alma

The citation metadata fields 'Chapter Number', 'Chapter Author', 'Chapter Title' cannot be viewed as columns on the citation search page in Alma (although they are visible if you edit the citation details). These fields contain key information which support our regular workflows, and it would be useful to have them visible at this level.

  16. Citation metadata display - in brief and full view (Author/Extract Author FIRST...)

Similar suggestions will no doubt arise from multiple customers, but it would be useful to have an understanding of the design approach (and configuration possibilities) of the default display of citation metadata in Leganto as regards the general item display at Brief (list level), and Full view, and - by extension - in the My Collection view.

For many customers the lack of a citation's Author PRECEEDING the Title of the work,
OR (citation secondary material type dependant) the Book Chapter author
    OR the Article author
BEFORE the article or book chapter title is very odd.

    Most reading list documents…

  17. Allow instructors to see List and Item Discussions more clearly

Although there are concerns around anonymity of list and item level discussions, instructors are interested in being able to easily get a course-level overview of the discussions on their lists, and items on their lists. Currently the Notifications can help to get instructors to individual comments, but these have no course context, having list filtering and no course details. Being able to see whole discussions from notifications and seeing the courses with which they are associated would help greatly here.

For example, if a lecturer is seeking feedback on assigned readings on a list, it would be useful to be…

  18. Option to hide panels

Would it be possible for the top and left panels to be visible as default, with the option for the user to hide them using the tabs (rather than making them hidden as default)?

  19. Drag citations from list into My Collection

Could functionality be added so that citations which appear in lists can be copied to My Collection by drag and drop (rather than via options > copy to collection).

This seems logical, as you can do the reverse action to copy a citation from My Collection to a list via drag and drop.

  20. Instructor / list owner to receive notification when list and/or all list citations marked complete

It would be useful for the instructor to know when all citations have been dealt with by library staff so that they can then choose to publish their list (rather than making the list available to students despite some items not being obtainable).
