Tile Container Properties
On recent creation of a Tile Container we have seen that the icons on the Subtiles added are being obscured by the border they normally display on the Home Page as part of our institutional design - This is inherited from the Profile configuration.
There is no way to remove this inherited property within the Subtile configuration so does not enable the icons to be viewed clearly. We would not expect to have to change our current institutional design and its adoption of tile borders, to work around this.
It would be better if there was something we could do…
1 voteThank you for the feedback on Tile Containers. This was indeed an oversight in our design, which we agree should be resolved.

pop ups
This idea is around 'pop-ups'. What I mean by this is a 'smaller than full screen' message/banner that can be designed to sit in front of any desired content page or 'pop-up' in-between a tile and the intended end destination. I have listed a few examples below and also attached a super short video of it working on another one of the UOB apps.
It could be used to notify end users of a current issue with check-in. 'Please be aware that we are currently experiencing an issue with iOS. For a successful check-in please use the web browser'
It…

Product Integration: List - Improvements
It would be useful if the List Product Integration offered the following features:
• The ability to present an External URL AND a Description in a list - At present, you can only show one or the other. This would allow us to add a brief summary of the purpose of the URL (in the ‘opened’ list view), supporting the Search feature and user navigation.
• The ability to configure platform specific overrides when applying an External URL to a list - As offered in App Builder for individual Menu Options, we may wish Mobile/Web users to open different locations,…

Language Pack - Template Refresh
It would be useful if the current template available for the Language Pack could be updated to remove entries that no longer apply to the Web or Mobile (React Native) platforms in use.
This would include legacy app entries plus any other that are no longer referenced.
Currently there are a number of entries in the template and it is difficult to distinguish which one you actually need to amend to deliver the desired result.
It would also be useful if the template could reference the location of use of each entry to again support simpler review and update as…

Platform Settings Menu - Customisation Enhancements
This idea relates to the items appearing in either:
• Settings - React Native Mobile App
• Drop Down (˅) Menu - Web AppAt our institution users only have access to a single Profile, so presenting the option to ‘Switch/Select Profile’ Is redundant. Is it possible to introduce configuration to enable us to turn this option on/off for display?
In addition, would it also be possible to introduce wider configuration to enable us to determine which items are available* in these areas and in which order.
*For example, we do not currently use Maps, so settings in the React…

Search Term Analytics
We would like to be able to extract a monthly report of the search terms entered by users in the built-in search feature.
This would help support platform development, allowing us to ensure that the key things being searched for are more immediately available/visible to users, improving their experience and ease of access to information/features.

Bus tracking
The bus tracking integration looks like it could really benefit our users but just being limited to one provider is limiting. If the module could be opened up to a RESTFul API - this would mean we could then use the module but with different providers.
Sort of linked to the now closed ticket of #17667385

In lecturer check-in, if you select a reason why the student isn't in the session it says 'Lecturer Logged Abscence' not what was selected
In lecturer check-in, when the lecturer selects a reason why the student isn't in the session it says 'Lecturer Logged Absence' and doesn't show the actual reason (student ill etc), which means lecturers are unsure they chose the right one and double check.
Show the actual logged reason selected!

Users - Date Last Logged In
To enable us to manage App Manager User account access more efficiently, it would be beneficial to have a ‘Date Last Logged In’ column in the Users table.
This would remove the need to have to request these details from Ex Libris by Support Case before we can undertake our security audits to remove users with no recent engagement (according to our internal policies).
I’m thinking of something along similar lines to that recently introduced for ‘Registered Users’ which states ‘Date Last Used’.

Attendance Check-in: Include native app version in data
Append the native app version to the set of data sent as part of a check-in attempt. Attendance check-in is by far the area of the app that generates the most calls to us, and that we subsequently need to raise with ExLibris. We are always asked by E.L. what version of the native app the student is using. We can only get this by asking the student. If it was included in the check-in attempt we would immediately know.

Add Student Check-In Time to the Lecturer Check-In Page
Instructors are requesting visibility into additional information within the check-in history window. The main request is to add the student's check-in timestamp in the page where the Lecturer Check-In Page where they can see who is present/absent.

Improve consistency of configured colours with the appropriate check-in history config
Although colours are customisable in some areas they do not flow through in all areas, which affect ability to use colours that could clash.
One instance Student view: absence button appears in bright red, even after we have set other colours for student logged absence and lecturer logged absence.
It is such a strong colour and unchangeable in settings, so it dictates and limits the rest of the colour scheme applied. Ie. we must design around it. See eg of what cannot be a scheme.

Provide a way to manage the Asset Manager
Provide a way to better manage files in the Asset Manager. Currently, if a file is uploaded to the incorrect folder or is not put in a folder, the only way to "move" it is to delete it and upload it again. Users should also be able to download files if necessary.

Add an optional 'copy to clipboard' button to ID Card PI
One of the best features to come out of Outlook was the inclusion of the 'copy to clipboard' icon next to fields in the address cards. No more fiddly selecting the address and accidentally picking up text either side. Since many of the fields in the ID Card PI are numbers and details that students want to use in other apps, why not make it really easy to grab them? This wouldn't make sense for every field, so perhaps make it optional if administrators wanted to include it? Thanks :)

Add a Note to the ID Card PI
Please add a Note field in the ID Card PI configuration form in order to display a static note to app users when they open the ID Card tile.
Use case: We have noticed that some students try to use the app to open the library security gates or to use the self-check machines. They think that the barcode in the app can be used for that, being not aware that self-check machines and gates work with the Mifare technology. Therefore, we would like to display a note in the ID Card tile to inform them of this limitation.

While we agree that this is a good and viable idea, it did not make it into the 2026 roadmap.

Therefore, I have changed its status to "Accepted" - as we still believe we might develop this in the future, but are not currently able to plan in our current roadmap due to other priorities.
