Scheduling for app publishing
the work flow is a simple one our user add content
App Setting > Content > any content area
For this to be available in the app you have to go to
App settings > Publish Content > select all the All options
As you only want to publish content when you are ready, and we have many authors. We have a process that says we publish at 8am and 12 noon. But a human has to do this.
I would like it to be automated so we can schedule content publishing.
22 votesAdmins can publish individual content pages (without the Publish Content) feature by using the "Publish" option in Creative Studio. In conjunction with the Drafts feature in Creative Studio, this is supported.
Note that Publish Content is still needed to update Maps, Profiles and so forth.

Call to Action button at the bottom of 'Personal Details'
I think that it can be confusing for students where to find how they can go about amending their personal details in the central system. With this in mind - it would be great to add an additional configurable button that could sit at the bottom of personal details. This way, when a student log into the App and views their personal details, if they spot mistakes, they will know how to action their detail changes. This button would link off to the specific information/URL/Call to action that is required by each University in order for a student to mend…
16 votesThis is already available by configuring the "External Links" section in when editing "My Profile" in App Manager.

Make stats available for Action URLs
Currently unable to see how many clicks we are getting when tile has an Action URL assigned to it. We should be able to see this in Insight Analytics.
16 votesThe number of tile clicks is available via the campusM Analytics platform, regardless of where the tile links.
If you are unable to see this data, please raise a support ticket, as this is unexpected behavior.

Allow institution to specify Agenda view as the default for Timetable PI in RN
At the beginning of term students will often have more than six clashing events as our administrators allocate students into groups. The new calendar view, even with side-by-side rendering, makes the events unreadable and unusable (too narrow to reliably tap on). Could institutions be allowed to control whether the Timetable PI will default calendar view or the upcoming 'Agenda' view by default? Without this, we'll have to explain to users they have to switch to the Agenda view in order to read their timetable. Once users have made a selection though, the client should remember their decision. Thanks!
12 votesHi,
Today, the Agenda View is the default view. Students can change to the timeline view if they wish, and their selection is remembered when they next access the timetable.

Library Primo VE integration - Ability to hide the Charges label if the charge is zero
Library Primo VE integration - Ability to automatically hide the 'Charges' label if the charge is at zero.
12 votesAs we dont want the live tile to keep changing and leaving empty spaces based on whether the user has charges or not, we will not remove the icon. However, we have removed the badge from displaying if there is no charge pending

Notifications icon (counter) on start screen: hide when zero
See screenshtos:
The coloured dot for notifications should be hidden for all tiles with zero notifications.
The dot is for attracting the users' attention – the way it is at the moment is bad UX.
10 votesThis appears to be a PrimoVE live tile - which already allows for this behavior. Per our documentation, please look for the "Always Display Widget Count" setting in the Product Integration Configuration page.

Web based locations delivery
As a portal user, when linking to a location I would like to see the full details of the location (image, text, description and position actions) rather than showing the location pinned on the map
Is it possible to have the web based locations delivery styled to more of an iOS delivery? So when an location is linked to, you see the image, text, description and position actions and then have the option to view it on the map.

App Design Flexibility - Tile Height/Width by %
With smartphones getting larger we'd like to be able to use a percentage to size heights and widths. We are particularly interested in tile heights.
Our design team is currently working on a re-design that has full-width tiles, but with the smallest tile height available there is far too much scrolling to view all options. Attached are some screenshots for reference.
8 votesYou can define tile height and width as well as min and max number of columns for your homescreen

Ensure your colours match obligatory accessibility requirements (darker text, more contrast in colours)
As a university, our digital platforms (from websites to apps) must meet The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to at least level AA. One aspect of accessibility is colour contrast and legibility.
Instead of applying coloured text to a tinted colour background the text should always stay a dark charcoal grey even when colour applied.
Currently most ‘lights’ and ‘brights’ in our
colour palette couldn’t be used (and it remain accessible). This is limiting our (and other clients) choice and flexibility for using colour to style the app.8 votesAs each university has their own branding, we try not to actively limit color choices. It is each institution's responsibility to make sure that their configuration meets the required accessible contrast.
The color of text on tiles is configurable and the dark overlay behind the text can be hidden in App Builder. The best practice is to forgo the text on the tile, and to integrate it into the tile image so you can best control how the tile looks (the text will still be available to screen readers).

Open links in external browser (Safari, Chrome etc)
Ability to open links in an external browser on iOS and Android. Just ran a student feedback session and this was a strong theme. I see that a similar idea [ https://ideas.exlibrisgroup.com/forums/308182-campusm/suggestions/10304313-ability-to-break-out-of-webkit-browser ] was closed in Dec 2021, but no note explaining why. Thanks for considering :)

New version download prompt
Detect current version of app and prompt users to download latest version when opening, (either optional or required) to continue using the app - with message to explain why they need to upgrade (potentially editable by institution).
Would be useful when we've had recent updates to key services/tiles that are not being realised by students with manual updates, whilst ensuring consistency of experience for all.
7 voteswe have the ability to set minimum app version that prompts the user to download the latest version if they dont have the minimum.

Downloading files on Android
As an app user, I would like to be able to download files directly from AEK pages, so that I don't have to be redirected to a separate web page
It's not currently possible to download files linked from AEK pages on the Android app. We often send users off to web pages in the app which have downloadable files, PDFs, office docs etc. This works fine in the web app or the iOS app, but in Android, there is no download listener set on AEK pages so users just get a blank screen.
An alternative way of doing this…

Profile Group
Please add a way to bypass the profile group selection:
When switching a profile from the settings, a new step has been recently added to select the Profile Group of the institution. Only then users can choose the library profile from a list. There is no point to select a group when all the profiles are under the same group.
6 votesIf an institution has several profile groups, it's expected to see the profile group selection page when switching profiles.
If an institution only has a single profile group, the profile group selection page should be skipped. If this is not the current behavior, please submit this as a defect to our support team.
