Allow Downloading of Assets From Asset Manager
Allow downloading of assets from asset manager once uploaded. Sometimes the original asset is removed or deleted locally and it would be extremely convenient to be able to re-download it from the asset manager.
3 votesHey Mic,
This can be done by copying the URL of the asset and pasting it into the browser.
Thanks,

Timetable display TBA classes and classes without eventRef in the timetable
Details:
Our PeopleSoft developers created a view that combines data from two key tables—CLASSTBL and CAMPUSMTG—to support the Timetable integration. The CLASSTBL includes all courses at TCU, with relevant details such as time, location, and instructor. The CAMPUSMTG table, however, only includes courses that have a meeting pattern and thus a generated Event ID.Because of this, courses without a defined meeting pattern (e.g., independent study or upper-level research courses that don’t meet at regular times) are not included in the CAMPUS_MTG table and therefore don’t appear in the view being used by the Timetable integration.…
2 votesThis seems to be a configuration issue. In our documentation we recommend to combine the fields from both tables to create a unique ID for every event.

Timetable - Animation Accessibility
To enable us to adhere to Accessibility Guidelines, we would like functionality to be added to the Timetable tile to allow the user to control the animation.
Ideally, this would be in the form of a single ‘Play/Pause’ button (similar to Home Page Banners) to allow the user to stop/start the tile flipping over to show the next upcoming session.
Alternatively, could the animation be removed entirely, so that just the next session is displayed on the static tile?
If the animation does remain, the direction of movement would also be important to align across the platform - At present…
1 voteFor displaying the next upcoming event in the student calendar with no animation, please use the Day View smart tile.

Improve attendance lecturer check-in search results
Would it be possible to add the date (or at least day of the week) to the lecturer check-in search results page for each event?
Currently you just get a long list of events but no idea which date/day they relate to without clicking through to them, but then you have to go back and re-do the search as there is no "back to results" navigation option, the back < takes you to the home page (in react native app at least).
1 voteThe format of the date in the attendance feature is configurable. See: https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/campusM/Product_Documentation/Managing_campusM_Attendance/Configuring_Attendance#:~:text=of%20the%20service.-,General,-The%20time%20and

Notifications icon (counter) on start screen: hide when zero
See screenshtos:
The coloured dot for notifications should be hidden for all tiles with zero notifications.
The dot is for attracting the users' attention – the way it is at the moment is bad UX.
10 votesThis appears to be a PrimoVE live tile - which already allows for this behavior. Per our documentation, please look for the "Always Display Widget Count" setting in the Product Integration Configuration page.

Profile Group
Please add a way to bypass the profile group selection:
When switching a profile from the settings, a new step has been recently added to select the Profile Group of the institution. Only then users can choose the library profile from a list. There is no point to select a group when all the profiles are under the same group.
6 votesIf an institution has several profile groups, it's expected to see the profile group selection page when switching profiles.
If an institution only has a single profile group, the profile group selection page should be skipped. If this is not the current behavior, please submit this as a defect to our support team.

Alt-Text Capability for Images in campusM
Can we generate alt-text for our images, now that we're on React Native/campusM? The data is being passed through the data feed. We had submitted a support case, but the PM suggested we submit an Idea instead.

Allow institution to specify Agenda view as the default for Timetable PI in RN
At the beginning of term students will often have more than six clashing events as our administrators allocate students into groups. The new calendar view, even with side-by-side rendering, makes the events unreadable and unusable (too narrow to reliably tap on). Could institutions be allowed to control whether the Timetable PI will default calendar view or the upcoming 'Agenda' view by default? Without this, we'll have to explain to users they have to switch to the Agenda view in order to read their timetable. Once users have made a selection though, the client should remember their decision. Thanks!
13 votesHi,
Today, the Agenda View is the default view. Students can change to the timeline view if they wish, and their selection is remembered when they next access the timetable.

Call to Action button at the bottom of 'Personal Details'
I think that it can be confusing for students where to find how they can go about amending their personal details in the central system. With this in mind - it would be great to add an additional configurable button that could sit at the bottom of personal details. This way, when a student log into the App and views their personal details, if they spot mistakes, they will know how to action their detail changes. This button would link off to the specific information/URL/Call to action that is required by each University in order for a student to mend…

Make scheduled notifications editable by others who have the same ability to post to that alert group
If two or more users are able to schedule messages to an alert group, they should be able to edit each other's messages. Currently they have no visibility of each other's notifications.
We have a team who work on Welcome and Induction who each use Institutional Email to login. If one of them schedules an alert, it's only that one user who can change it, not any of their colleagues who also can send messages to that alert group. A workaround is to not use Institutional Email and have a shared role account and password which is OK for one…

Ensure your colours match obligatory accessibility requirements (darker text, more contrast in colours)
As a university, our digital platforms (from websites to apps) must meet The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to at least level AA. One aspect of accessibility is colour contrast and legibility.
Instead of applying coloured text to a tinted colour background the text should always stay a dark charcoal grey even when colour applied.
Currently most ‘lights’ and ‘brights’ in our
colour palette couldn’t be used (and it remain accessible). This is limiting our (and other clients) choice and flexibility for using colour to style the app.8 votesAs each university has their own branding, we try not to actively limit color choices. It is each institution's responsibility to make sure that their configuration meets the required accessible contrast.
The color of text on tiles is configurable and the dark overlay behind the text can be hidden in App Builder. The best practice is to forgo the text on the tile, and to integrate it into the tile image so you can best control how the tile looks (the text will still be available to screen readers).

Year-on-year comparative analytics
Please could you provide reports that provided year-on-year comparisons, because in most cases we want to find out how we are doing in comparison to the same time last academic year (and the years before that), as well as tracking trends inside the academic year. I've attached a screengrab of what the report might look like, created by manually copying and pasting values into Excel.

"Logout of All Devices" or "End All Sessions" Functionality: This feature would enable users to remotely terminate all active sessions associated with their account. Sidebar - Width Configuration
When the Sidebar is enabled for the Web app, the automated (reduction) scaling applied to the Home page display can present some adverse effects:
• Tile Titles are cut off (ending with …)
• When the scroll bar is in use due to the number of tiles on display - The edge of the tiles on the right-hand side are cut offWe would like the use of the Sidebar to not affect the presentation of the tiles in this way.
If this cannot be resolved by default, would it be possible to offer a Sidebar Width configuration property to…
5 votesHey Claire,
About the titles being truncated, you can avoid this by setting a minimum size for tiles, ensuring the titles have enough room no matter what. This is done in the App/Profile Config in App Builder.
To the second point of the tiles being cut off at the edges - this is a defect, please report it to the Support team.
Thanks!
