  1. Persistent "Number of results to display" setting

    As a user, I would like the "Number of results to display" setting in the "My Account" area to be persistent for my user account.

    Currently, this setting is dependent on a browser cookie and/or system cache. As a security measure, many users clear caches and cookies when they close their browser. This results in the setting reverting to a default value when they next log in to Primo.

    Having this setting directly associated with a user's Primo account would provide a more consistent user experience.

  2. Increase number of citations that can be pushed to citation manager tools

    Our users would like to be able to send more than the current limit of 30 citations at a time to tools like Refworks and Easybib.

  3. Display "Sign in to check request options" message/link on a higher level

    Display the "Sign in to check request options" message/link on a higher level than for each location? That would make it much more visible for customers, instead of having to click on individual locations drop down links.

  4. A report of "full text available" records in Primo Central for each institution

    It would be great to be able to get a report of the institutional holdings that have been matched to records in Primo Central, so that they are indexed as "full text available" for the institution. This would enable libraries to see which active portfolios in each SFX KB target / Alma CZ collection are indexed at all in Primo Central, and how much of the holdings of each serial are indexed.   5. Enable Full Text Searching

    Enable full text searching for all searches as opposed to only as an enhanced search when results are low. This is especially confusing for when the same search can return less results after a user logs in.

  6. Include "Browse Search" link on advanced search pages.

    Right now the "browse search" link is offered on the basic simple search page, but not on the advanced search page. For libraries that primarily link to the advanced search page, that link is buried.

  7. Version control system for back office configuration

    A version control system for back office configuration tables, pipes, normalization rules etc.
    For files like Custom HTML, CSS, JS, PDS etc. we can manage change history and revert to older versions by using version control systems like Git, Subversion etc. For configuration managed via the web back office and database this is not possible, but it is a vital feature of professional system management. This will become more important in a full SaaS environment.

  8. Add link "Back to results list" on the e-Shelf

    This is the use-case I want to improve:
    A user is constructing complex queries and collecting some records.
    From time to time she wants to check the e-Shelf and then continue skimming trough the results list.

    ¡There is no simple navigation path from the e-Shelf back to the results list!

    There are 2 less-than-ideal solutions:

    1/ repeating the query from tab "This session's queries" (flaws: it is cumbersome to find the corresponding query and too much clicks are necessary)
    2/ the back button of the browser (flaws: the yellow e-Shelf star icons are not up to date and too much…

  9. Multilingual CT and MT: Configure inherited languages

    Right now most CTs and MTs in the Backoffice are configured in a multitude of languages. The possibility to configure the languages needed by the instance and/or institution would make the usage more convenient and also save disk space.

    OTB-Tables could stay the same as they are now, of course. But for at least the instance – if not even single institutions – a set of needed languages should be configurable.

  10. Send e-mail to Primo administrator staff after a scheduled pipe was executed

    For many customers, especially SaaS ones that does not have direct access to the server, it is very important to know if a scheduled pipe is executed or not. The idea here is that the BO server send by email a summary of each pipe execution, indicating start and finish date and time, execution status and how many records were imported / deduplicated etc.
