Primo NDE - Allow All Filters to be open by default
In Primo VE the All Filters on the left side of the search screen is open by default. In NDE it is closed by default. We would like the ability to choose that the default be set to open so students will see the options rather than them having to know that they need to click "All Filters" button.

Thanks for the feedback. This idea is currently planned for early 2026, for allowing institutions to define the filters panel behavior.

Lincoln University has now gone live with NDE … https://lincoln.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/nde/home?vid=64LINCOLN_INST:NDE.
We have used some ccs hacks to display the filter/facet panel by default in both simple and collection search result pages (see our Github ... https://github.com/LincolnUniLTL/Primo-VE-NDE ... for the code). I’m sure someone with better coding experience will enhance this template, but it works for us in Edge, Chrome and Firefox, while retaining mobile functionality.

I fully agree.
Ideally the institution is able to select the default state, and the patrons can override it in their settings, if they want.
