Access by IP-Ranges : add criteria in Primo Analytics
Primo Analytics should support IP ranges as a filter criteria in the usage reports. This will enhance our statistics, for instance:
- how much usage is generated by certain libraries?
- how many patrons use primo off-campus or via VPN?
- are there users not affiliated with the university?
- what is the percentage of usage generated by library staff?
- etc.
The IP ranges might be taken from the backoffice configuration
Primo Home > Ongoing Configuration Wizards > Institution Wizard > Edit IPs
Please support this idea as we think this will lead to a clearer picture of our Primo users.

@James Morrison: Maybe ipvanish can give you that information. The main reason for us is to filter out requests done by the staff, which does not use this service afaik.
