Display of consortium e-resource coverage
Consortium partner library's e-resource coverage and public notes should be displayed in Primo VE.
When searching Primo VE in consortium environment with Search Profile "DiscoveryNetwork", coverage of e-resource licensed by the consortium partner library (not by the consortium) is not displayed. Only bib record (in NZ) is displayed.
Currently, no information about e-resource holdings of consortium partner library is displayed and users will not be able to notice that the partner library subscribed to this e-journal. If they noticed, they could access to this e-journal as walk-in users visiting the partner library or request copies of articles through Interlibrary Loan.

Display more than 10 locations in PRIMO VE
We are using bch scheme and when a bibliographic record has more than 10 locations, PRIMO only shows 10, even though the results are limited to one library.
For example, there are one item in our Medical Library, but it doesn't show. https://granatensis.ugr.es/discovery/fulldisplay?docid=alma991014023258604990&context=L&vid=34CBUA_UGR:VU1&search_scope=MyInstitution&tab=Granada&lang=es16 votesThank you for posting this idea. Remove "Add to e Shelf" from copied text
Users often copy and paste titles of works from Primo brief search results, to use in other searches or documents. The user selects the hyperlinked title text and copies. When it is pasted, the phrase "Add to e Shelf" is added in front of the title, even though it doesn't appear in the brief search results. This is very confusing to patrons, who frequently don't notice this sneaky addition to their copied text and wonder why their new search is "not found". We would love to see this phrase removed from the copied text.

Local fields for all MARC tags
Currently local Primo VE fields can only be created for a small set of MARC fields (009, 09X, 490, 5XX, 69X, and 9XX). I don't see a reason for this limitation. I want to be able to use ALL MARC tags for local fields.

Allow Main Menu Links to be Configurable on Primo Services Page in New UI
We would like to be able to configure Main Menu Links on the Primo Services Page.
When a patron lands on the services page, they should have the same Main Menu options as any other Primo page: New Search, Browse Search, EJournals, Citation Linker, etc.
Unfortunately, these "Main Menu links in the New UI Services page were suppressed by design."
Thanks,

Update default Chicago/Turabian citation style in Primo to current 17th ed.
Chicago/Turabian citation style 17th ed. was released in 2017, but only the 16th ed. is available as a citation style. This is one of the most common citation styles in use, and Primo should offer the current version as a default option.

Improve webhook availability/links display for Newsbank/Access World News
Ex Libris has collaborated with Newsbank/Access World News to enable the use of a search webhook to enable content discovery within the Primo/Primo VE platform -- which is great! However, we are finding the current display of availability and links within the Newsbank webhook largely unusable, preventing us from implementing within our public production environment. The problem is that no online availability statement is displayed in results list nor brief record display, and no View Online area appears in the record. The results and records appear exactly the same as content outside of our full text results -- EXCEPT for…

New Search link in new Primo UI should unlock & reset sticky facets
Can the new Primo UI be configured so all locked facets are unlocked and reset when the user clicks the “New Search”link on top of the new Primo UI toolbar?
Since the locked facets are programmed to remain active for the session, even after clicking “New Search”, the user may receive unanticipated results, and/or a result set of “No Records Found” if the sticky facets don’t apply to the new search.
For an example: A search on history narrowed to the subject of “History & Archaeology” with facets “Available in the Library” and NOT “Video” does a nice job of…

My Library Card: Display BLock Expiry Date
It would be very beneficial for library patrons to be able to view their Block Expiry Date in the "Block + Message" section of My Library Card.
Currently, only "Block Description" is displayed. If the Block Expiry Date is displayed, library patrons do not need to ask the library staff. It will be a nice feature for library staff as well since the number of inquiries will decrease.
12 votesDisplay of Block Expiry Date is available in Primo VE from March 2019. For more information see: https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Primo/Release_Notes/002Primo_VE/0972019/002Primo_VE_2019_Release_Notes

Campus level settings for CDI Link in Record
Discovery Customer Settings are only configurable at the institution level.
It makes CDI Link in Records broken for multi-campus environments with separate subscriptions to vendors like Gale, Infobase, and Kanopy.

Add ability to configure the display at the item level and the location level in the GetIt section
In Primo VE, the display of the GetIt section works currently as following:
If there are only items in one location, the first display after opening the full view is at the item level (example: https://eth.swisscovery.slsp.ch/permalink/41SLSP_ETH/lshl64/alma99118073204005503).
If there are items in more than one location, the first display is at the location level (example: https://eth.swisscovery.slsp.ch/permalink/41SLSP_ETH/lshl64/alma990104195490205503).
Because our libraries are part of a huge consortium, our users always have to check first in which library an item is available before checking the item information. Furthermore, we believe that the user experience would be better, if the GetIt section looked…9 votesHi,

Add live links from books etc. on Primo to the Leganto lists they feature on
When we look at items within Primo that are featured on Leganto reading lists we are given the module information for them i.e. which modules, and therefore lists, they are linked to. For example: https://librarysearch.rgu.ac.uk/discovery/fulldisplay?docid=alma991000824659704636&context=L&vid=44RGU_INST:VU1&search_scope=EBOOKS&tab=Everything&lang=en.
While this is very useful it would be great if these were links to the actual lists on Leganto.
Please let me know if this idea should be on the Leganto exchange rather than this one.

Display of 541 and 561 fields in holdings records should be determined by value in first indicator of the field
Currently if display of 541 and/or 561 fields in holdings records is enabled in "Holdings Display Customization", 541 and/or 561 fields display in the GetIt section in Primo regardless of the value in the first indicator. If the value in the first indicator is zero then the 541/561 field should not be displayed - this is standard MARC coding (see https://www.loc.gov/marc/holdings/hd541.html and https://www.loc.gov/marc/holdings/hd561.html ).
Ex Libris proposed a solution to us where when the holdings record is saved the a 541 and/or 561 field with first indicator empty or 1 is copied to a 999 field, and in the Holdings…

Include the 776 field in ISBN matching when deduping books
Deduping of books would be improved if the deduping algorithm included the 776 field in ISBN matching. Currently, the algorithm only checks the 020 field for ISBN. In many cases, an electronic version of a book has the print ISBN in the 776 field, which would allow for a match of the electronic 776 to the print 020. The February VE release included an improvement that allowed the 776 field to be used when matching journal ISSNs, but it is still not being used when matching book ISBNs.

Work with additional batches of 50 records after the first set of 50
It's now possible to select and act upon a set of 50 records in Primo VE. However, once the first set of 50 records has been selected and saved to Favorites (or otherwise acted upon), all actions on additional records must be done manually, one at a time. After the first 50, the user gets the message, "Please edit your selection to include no more than 50 records." and then it is no longer possible to work with records in batch.
For example, often a user will perform a search in Primo VE and find a set of 150 or…7 votesThank you for this suggestions. The new pagination method will allow to select additional set of records and not only first top 50 records.
