Add the creation's hour on borrowing requests
My idea contents 2 concepts :
1) We would like to see the hour when the borrowing request was created.
When we have a lot of requests, we would like to be able to make a choice and treat the older before the newest.2) We would like to sort the borrowing requests by differents ways. Presently the borrowing requests are ranked by alphabetical order of the title.
But when you have a lot of requests, like us, sometimes a new request arrives before that you treated the ancient.

Push Requests to ILLiad should include comments in the resource sharing request.
Referring to the new feature in Alma Nov (2019) release, the new feature for pushing resource sharing request to ILLiad via API lacks some important features to make it useful.
Most importantly, comments in the Resource Sharing request did not pass over to ILLiad. This feature exists when using email to push request to ILLiad. It's missing when using API.I would hope you could improve using API to push requests to ILLiad and make it feature parity using email method.

Report of Outstanding Borrowing Requests
We would like a to be able to: 1. Create a report of outstanding borrowing requests, 2. Automatically send the claim letters by email to the partners, 3. Update the status of the requests to Claimed.
54 votesAs of March release for peer-to-peer resource sharing partners, you can trigger an automatic claim letter when a configured period of time is reached. For example, when the Automatic Claim check box is selected and the Time to Claim (days) field is set to 7, if a request was sent 7 days ago and the request’s status is still Sent, a claim letter is automatically triggered and the request status is set to Claimed.
You can also configure an option to send a cancel message and continue through the rota.In case of an Email/SLNP partner, the letter is sent by email.
For ISO requests, the notice is sent in a General Message. The text in the message can be configured

"All" tab for searching in Task List (Borrowing and Lending
We can see the "All" tab in the Reading Lists Task List for Leganto. Would like similar for Borrowing and Lending for Alma RS instead of having to go through Assigned to me, Unassigned and Assigned to Others. More efficient to search in one place when multiple people manage RS.

Among other features of the new UI, activity status information is a facet , enabling searching for requests by specifying multiple activity statuses.

Adding "Level of Service" to Resource Sharing Borrowing/Lending Request Facet
Currently, when placing a Resource Sharing Requests (both Borrowing and Lending), clients are able to select a "Level of Service" e.g. Core, Rush, Express. The Borrowing/Supplying library will then base on this level of service to prioritize the workload. At the moment, Level of Service is not available as a facet for filtering in Alma. The impact is that library staff need to go through every requests to find out what level of service the client has requested. Lending Requests - Display of Article Title on main screen
We would like the the article title to appear on the main screen of Digital Lending requests. Currently the Journal title appears twice e.g. Advances in Health Sciences Education / Advances in Health Sciences Education.

Ability to reverse 'completed' requests in Resource Sharing
There are some occasions where we have completed a resource sharing request, and then later realise we aren't actually "finished" with the request.
Even if you change the status to something else (e.g. shipped physically), you are still unable to receive an item on the request number.Would it be possible to create an option to 'un-complete' a request? Which would then give the request all the available options as active requests?
36 votesThe July 2019 release has a feature for ‘Reactivate Resource Sharing Requests’.
For completed peer to peer resource sharing requests, a new row action, Reactivate Request, is available on the Resource Sharing Task List. This action may be used to reactivate a request that has been mistakenly marked as completed.
The option is available on both the borrowing and lending request task list.
For borrowing requests, a temporary item is recreated using the previous barcode with the process status set to ‘In resource sharing’.
For lending requests, the shipped item’s process status is set to In resource sharing and the item is relinked. The request status is Request Reactivated.

Add Closed Library Management Policy Rule to RS Borrowing TOU
Currently, when a borrowing request item is received, the due date of item is set by the lender's TOU. If the due date falls on a library close date, the due date remains unchanged. This causes the problem when clients are misled by the due date and would visit the library to return the item even though the library is closed. Allow personal delivery requests to be converted to resource sharing requsts
Currently, Alma does not allow personal delivery requests to be converted to resource sharing requests. Library staff have to change the pickup location from personal delivery to a physical library, convert the request to a resource sharing request, and then change the pickup location back to Personal Delivery. Can this be changed so staff can convert personal delivery requests to resource sharing requests without having to change the pickup location?
29 votesAs of Alma July release institutions can convert ‘Hold’ requests to ‘Resource Sharing’ requests if the pick-up location is personal delivery and the resource sharing library supports personal delivery.

Send a confirmation by e-mail for each resource sharing request
When the user fill in the form to receive a book by the Inter-Library Loan (ILL), it would be nice if a confirmation by e-mail could be sent to him.
Our users were accustomed to receive this sort of e-mail and it's a deficiency for them.27 votesA confirmation e-mail is sent for patrons for each resource sharing request.

Add an "automatically print slip" toggle to the Resource Sharing Receiving Items page
For campuses that have a library that is also a Resource Sharing library, we could use a toggle switch to automatically print hold shelf slips when we receive items. Because Resource Sharing libraries do not require an extra scan at "scan in items", this would help speed up our workflow.

Automatic transfer of the RS borrowing request cancellation note
Functionality wanted: Cancellation notes in Resource Sharing Borrowing Requests to be transferred to the resource Notes tab automatically.
Currently, cancellation notes in Resource Sharing Borrowing Requests don’t get transferred to the resource Notes tab automatically. However, since it is used in cancellation notification emails for users, ILL staffs should be able to have access to the same information the users see. This is necessary as it will help ILL staffs address user inquiries about the cancellation in a timelier manner when they come up. Let's get the INN-Reach API working with Alma
The INN-Reach API is out, has been out for awhile, and other ILS vendors (Bywater) are quickly making this available in the systems they support. Resource sharing via INN-Reach is important to many Alma libraries and the DCB alternative many of us have spent a lot of time and energy to set up (while waiting for the API) is costly, backward, and inefficient technology.

Simultaneously reject and complete lending requests
When we digitally ship a lending request, we have the option to tick a box to simultaneously complete the request and remove it from the active worklist.
However, if we reject a lending request, there is no option to complete the request at the same time. We have to do an additional workflow step to complete rejected requests and remove them from the active list.
To solve this issue, a "Complete the request" checkbox should be added to the Reject Request dialog, allowing us to simultaneously reject and complete a lending request.

Limit Resource Sharing Requests per academic year
It would be great if Alma included an overridable limit to the number of resource sharing requests a user could submit for an academic year. It would also be great if limits can be set either on the patron type or user group.

Ability to assign Resource Sharing Borrowing Requests
There is currently the ability to assign Resource Sharing Lending Requests, but not Borrowing Requests.
This would be a useful feature- it would ensure there is no double handling across different campuses, certain requests can be escalated to a manager if they require approval, and once a request has been processed up until a certain point it can be placed back into the unassigned list until further intervention is needed.23 votes -
Make Query to Patron Letter use addressFrom like any other letter
The Query to Patron letter functionality for Borrowing Requests in Alma has recently been reimplemented to use the standard mail configuration in Alma. By some reason an exception has been made for the "addressFrom" setting, where it instead still uses the default address for the Resource Sharing library.
This is counter intuitive, as the addressFrom value is still configurable for the letter, only it doesn't have any effect. I'm still surprised my case (#00609529) was identified as a documentation issue and not a bug.

When rs_use_addressfrom_letter_param (Fulfillment Configuration Menu > General > Other Settings) is set to true (default false), instead of letters being sent from the Preferred Email Address set in Fulfillment > Library Management > Contact Information, the email is sent from the letter configuration addressFrom (Configuration > General > Letters > Letters Configuration).

Choose more than one facet in Lending requests and Borrowing requests
Currently In Alma there is no option to choose more then one facet in the same category in the pages Lending requests and Borrowing requests.
for example I can't choose to watch Created lending request and Renew requested at the same time.

Add Job Category as an input parameter for the Borrowing Resource Sharing rule
Why this is desirable:
To facilitate personal delivery for a subset of a user group (online or distance learners, for example), Alma needs an additional input parameter in the Borrowing Resource Sharing rule. Due to additional cost implications for these patrons and the delivery of their requested items, we do not want to offer this service to all users with a certain user group. Giving these patrons a separate user group, where all other loan, request, etc. rules are identical other than the personal delivery setting adds an undesirable level of complexity to the existing fulfillment rules and patron groupings.…19 votesCompleted as part of the February release.

Lending request can go wrong too easily
As it is now when one is doing more lending request it is too easy to make a mistake. When you chose Ship suddenly we cannot see which document that you are shipping so one can easily believe and chosing a barcode that doesn't belong to that post goes just as swiftly as the one you should have chosen. It is no way of seeing that things have gone terribly wrong.
Then when you try to ship the other using the right barcode that doesn't go and NOW you see something is WRONG, and you have 2 faults in stead…
