Proxy and sponsor display and sorting
It would be helpful to be able to sort the sponsors for a proxy alphabetically in the "Proxy for" tab of the User Details page. Currently they only display in the order in which they were added. Some proxies work for multiple sponsors so being able to sort them and even search would be helpful. It would also be nice if the drop down window used during checkout could display alphabetically as well.

Automate Manage Digital Representations in reading lists
When processing reading lists we sometimes have two citations in the same list which reference different chapters or page ranges for the same BIB record (i.e. two digital representations on the same BIB).
We understand that if we want to only display the relevant chapter for each citation then we have to use 'Manage Digital Representations' which we turn on by changing the Customer Setting displaydigitalrepresentations to false. Consolidate items onto one Overdue or Lost Loan Letter
Alma Overdue or Lost Loan Letters currently send an e-mail for EACH item lost or overdue. This bombards patrons' e-mail accounts and contributes to their disregard of correspondence from the library due to the high volume.
An improvement would be to consolidate items onto one Overdue or Lost Loan Letter to each patron. This would also lessen the amount of "Attachments" in each patron's record for staff to consult when interacting with patron questions or concerns.

Make "Previous User" list include patrons whose accounts have been opened by scanning a barcode
It would be ideal for the previous user list to include patrons whose accounts have been opened by scanning their barcode, not just those whose have been opened by typing in their name. The current functionality makes it non-useful for our staff

Processing Unit filter on Citation results
Ex Libris added the ability to filter by Processing Unit of the associated course on the Reading List results display. We need the same filter available on the list of Citation results. We have 5 separate processing units and the Citation results are useless without being able to limit to a single unit

Add open for edit option to patron query types emails, so that patron query types can be sent to other email address as well as the patron. As this only works in patron query templates.

Direct access to Reading lists is required following a Repository Search
User story/Case:
In Alma, when a Repository Search is run and the list of matching citations display, Library staff who process Reading Lists require direct access to all reading lists associated with the citations.Description:
Currently when a citation is found following a Repository Search to access any associated reading list, staff must:- Click the Other details tab
- Click Courses
- Individually click the row action button for each course to:
- Select reading list
- Then individually select from the multiple reading lists attached to the course (if required)

Customisable expiry dates in Alma Calendar Management entries
Currently, if you add an entry in Alma Calendar Management (Config & choose relevant library > Fulfillment > Opening Hours > Calendar Management), it lasts for 3 years before expiring. Entries can expire unnoticed and cause fulfillment-related problems, such as due dates being calculated incorrectly. It would be much better if these calendar entries could be set to expire on a particular date or never, depending on what the person creating the entry decides is preferable.

Is it possible to collapse the pick list function into searching function?
Instead of having separate pick from shelf tab, have pick list items be put in as first search so that there are not separate search and pick from shelf functions.

Hide Preferred Address (postal) in successfully sent email notices
In our Library, notices are sent by email to patron's "Preferred Email Address" by default, or by postal mail to "Preferred Address" by printing the notices if "Preferred Email Address" is found empty or the emails are bounced. As the same notice template is used for both email and postal mails, "Preferred Address" inevitably has to be included.
Due to privacy concern, we try to avoid personal information, including "Preferred Address", appearing in email notices to patrons.

Setting to default when only one Loan Period Policy
When placing a request for an item with only one Loan Period Policy, It would be more intuitive and friendly if it would be the default option so the patron shouldn't have to open the drop down and choose the only available option.
54 votesSetting the default Loan Period Policy would mean that the request must be fulfilled with that loan policy. That would mean that if there is a change in the items’ policy the request will be automatically cancelled. This may not be a desirable result.
If the patron really wants the request to be fulfilled only with the selected loan policy, the patron is expected to explicitly select that.

Configuration allowing only Institution Level Terms of Use and Fulfillment Policy
Would like the ability to turn off the creation of Library specific Terms of Use and Library specific Fulfillment Policy. We are a small institution with only one Library. The Institution set-up with Library overrides provides a level of configuration that is problematic and error prone. System enforcement allowing only Institution level changes (which is the recommended configuration) would be very helpful.

Searching for patron in Manage Patron Services
Since the Manage Patron Services search limits the results to 10 accounts, it would be helpful if it would limit the search to last name or at least rank it by searching last name first. I realize you can use the "Select from list" option but a lot of people aren't aware of that option. Or could the number of hits be increased? All of this is resulting in library staff creating duplicate user accounts because they can't find the name.

Have a link to borrower information from the Scan In Items screen
I have been finding it a bit fiddly to go from returning an item to a borrower's details, primarily in order to pay and waive fines. Would it be possible to display the last borrower number in the Scan In Item screen, and have this and the item barcode number as a link to the Manage Patron and Item pages respectively?

Ability to select numerous items and mark them as missing all together, instead of clicking each individual one and mark as missing one by one.
