According to the documentation pointer, you can remove items from itemized sets, but you can't search within them. When I have a large itemized set, I'd like to be able to search for a particular record or a small set of records.
For example, I will get a large spreadsheet of MMS IDs for a project and I will make an itemized set out of them. However, if the project is delayed or put on hold, when I revisit the set, I'd like to be able to search for records that have been altered and whose criteria no longer matches the project criteria. Or if a title mistakenly made it onto the sheet, I'd like to search for that one title so that I can remove it from the set.
The majority of my project work involves itemized sets, so it would be very valuable to be able to search within them.
