    I support this suggestion 100%. In the case of music scores with loose parts, there is no other way of knowing how many parts were checked out vs. returned, and therefore no mechanism for holding borrowers accountable for lost parts. Of course, a score with an incomplete set of accompanying parts is practically useless for performance purposes.
