When a loan due date is shortened due to patron expiry, Alma will retain and internal an indication for that on the loan record. This way when the patron expiry is updated (shortened OR extended) the loan due date will be recalculated using the loan date (i.e. as if the recalculation is happening at loan time).
This way, the due date may be extended or shortened according to the new expiry date.

This appears on NERS and IDEAS exchange yearly and is something that would make a difference to the ability to recover stock as users leave with long loan items without library staff being aware

This would be very useful as we have always had this issue throughout the year when students change dates or move courses or suspend studies. Very disappointed it did not make it through NERS as seems like Alma should be able to deal with this as part of the basic functionality.

The user notification letter does not currently let you include a list of any items on loan - this would be a very useful addition to the existing functionality as if you are contacting any user then you would want to include 'borrower activity' details - as a reminder.

Hi,
This is to update that this issue is still not planned to be developed in the current road map. We will continue to evaluate it for a future release.
Therefore we are keeping this under "Under review" status.
Best regards,
Yael.

We had submitted a case for this in Salesforce and Support came back with the comment below so am also adding votes to this for an update from Ex Libris on when they are going to fix this.
As I mentioned for Resource Sharing Requests, the Chapter is the Chapter number, not the title, so it will not transfered to Alma. Alma internal form slightly differs from Primo, because it has additional fields, including Chapter Title. Unfortunately currently you have to fill it manually, if the page from-to is not filled properly or you need more details about the request.
